His ability is apparently called "illusion", where when he enters battle, he will take the shape of a random pokemon, complete with fake name, until he is low on health. He keeps his dark typing, and presumably his move set, while transformed.

Great for screwing with human players, but pretty useless against the computers, I'm sure.

The official Japanese name is Pokabu.

Emboar is a temp fan dubbing name, along with Smugleaf and Wotter.

I rather Like Wotter for the water star's joke name. It amuses me. If I use it in 9 months, and remember, that's totally what I'm calling it.
