Part of me wants them to slightly reorganize the Pokedex so that they can unite all of the scattered evolutionary trees, but a lot of fans are used to the specific numbers and changing that would throw them off.

Personally I'd be happy if they made some more unusual pokemon more available and useable DURING THE MAIN GAME. I'm SICK of the likes of Abra, Machop Geodude, Zubat, Onix etc lines being constantly used because they're all over the place.

Oh and make 3rd Gen pokemon useable too. I can't recall the last time I saw any of them be used other than the starters.

That's true, and I did forget about those (I haven't played a pokemon game through for a long time), but in that case I want to see the regional dex overtake the regular pokedex, because it feels much more logical and yet still underused/valued.

Well, for now, all we can do is speculate on what the new pokemon will look like. Though a quick google search brings up a whole bunch of really good fakes. Note that they are fakes.

Well, at least we know we are getting some new Dark type Pokemon, since Zorua and Zoroark are Dark types. I wonder if they'll know the move Transform, since they've been seen transforming into other Pokemon during the Movie 13 trailer. It could also be just an ability that is mentioned in the Pokedex but has no real effect on the gameplay.

I'm also hoping to see more new Pokemon than evolutions to old ones, but there are some (pre-/)evolutions I'd like to see. Pre-evos for Kangaskhan, Lapras and Tropius would be nice, and evolutions for (for example) Corsola, Chimecho, Mawile and Pachirisu would make them much more usable. I'd like to see an Electric/Fighting -type Pokemon and more Fire types would always be cool.

But, I think that he's just going to be a Lucario.

You thought he was a legendary Pokémon, because he appeared in a movie waaay before his Generation's movies starts, but unlike Lucario, we already know Zoroark has a baby evolution.

Oh, I almost forgot to post these. These are the rest of the fake Pokemon I found. They look almost real and I was almost fooled, but sadly they ARE fake. This does show what others are expecting from this 5th generation.
Hopefully these will tide us over until we get more real info.

Really? They looked pretty pokemonish to me.
To each his own, I guess. But there are some pokemon that don't look like pokemon though. It's not like they're real, just depictions of what people might like to see.

Most of those FakeMons looked too weak, the author tried to make them look "cute-ish" and didn't work for me.

Some of them look like fusions of the real Pokémon.
- Bibarel + Floatzel = "Merculey"
- Swampert + Rampardos = "Lividon"
- "Stuckarp" looks like Magikarp's cousin
- "Orakey", a golden Unown
- "Bisommit" is a Grass Camperupt

I could go on and on... but that'll be a bore.
