I agree with chris here, option 2 it is.
I choose option C.

I didn't want to post twice but clearly you only read the tl;dr version. I specify tried to state that there was nothing to change.
That in itself is what makes it worse for me, since there is nothing to fight against only acceptance.
Please don't try and make me look bad over something I already agree with you on.
Basically, what it comes down to is I don't like being in a position of not being able to help. One side I can help the other side I can't do anything but accept.
I don't like losing without a fight of some type. I guess I'm a minority in this case, that is all.

That's true, but there are things people do to try to change gay people, like those religious camps. It's good that he didn't acknowledge those as an option. :)
He did reply, right above you in fact.
I never did get that whole... "imma convert you straight" mentality.
How does one gain that track of thought to begin with is beyond me...

It stems from the idea that being gay is a sin, and therefore is behavioral.
The question was "Which is Worse".
If it doesn't need to be changed, there shouldn't be a problem for the parent to feel they need to "Fight against".
You don't "Fight" against something that has no downside and is unchangeable.
If you see something worth "Fighting" to "Change", then that pretty much says there is something "Wrong" there that needs to be "Changed".
Nothing here for now.

I have a hard time believing that the majority are against homosexuality because it's a 'sin'. I seriously do. A lot of the time the Bible is USED as a crutch to make homophobia look justified in society. Nobody questions a "religious belief".
I know there are exceptions, but I seriously doubt that the MAJORITY really is against homosexuality because their Bible tells them so.
