I don't think people would mind much. Anyways, your drawings look quite interesting. I like them.

    ^He's not that bad.
Well, yeah, he is, but that's what makes him lovable a good character~

    Thanks!

Also an update. It's an animation

    dundundun!

Don't expect anything great though, it's nothing special, I just did this for my art class. It relatively big.
    Spoiler:

There's supposed to be some sort of explosion or something, and it hits (obviously) as we can see on his face.
The background once again is like macaroni and lots of ketchup put together.
I'm actually happy about how it turned out. Short but nice. I did this all by myself. Well, okay, I used two Akainu pictures for reference, but the animation itself is entirely done by me. Didn't look any tutorials or whatsoever (remember my Doberman animation? I used one for that).

    There's a coloured non-animated picture by the way~

    Let's see.
What looks more appealing to my eyes colour-wise?

    This:
    Spoiler:

    This (biiiig pic):
    Spoiler:

Even when I mess up Onigumo he still looks less ugly~

    Or this:

    Spoiler:

You decide! pick the last one THE LAST ONE!!

I showed the art teacher the animation. He liked it and I promised to make it longer:D

So 4 hours or work. Here it is. The full thing. It's probably pretty big. In file size. Soooo...

    Watch out!

    Spoiler:
    Seriously though, it's huge...

    Spoiler:

I used reference this time, for the the random guy turning around.

Akainu saying "You are dead" is entirely done by me without any kind of help other than me saying "Your are dead" for like a hundred times. It's not perfect, but for a first try at lip sync (that's what it's called isn't it?).
Also, forgive me for the really unique character and script. Yeah, he could've said something like "MAGMAFIST POW" or "Pathetic" but darn, those are too hard. The character itself is just there to be blown up by whatever (bomb or MAGMAFIST).

So this is my second gif...

Here's the first one too, since it haven't been yet put in this thread:
    Spoiler:

    PFfttt...........

    I can't believe I made this... pfft...

    I'm so darned insane!

Do you think... I should show this to my teacher? Pftt...

Hey, you know which VA I haven't drawn yet?

Yes Dalmatian John Giant Tsuru Garp Saul Mozanbia Stainless Cancer

    Comil!

So here's a bunch of him:
    Spoiler:

I'll work in this one a little more.

    Spoiler:

    5 min sketchy~

    Spoiler:

Nolus, why are you drawing naked men?
    They are half naked
    But, why...
    Class dismissed!

I like this one. Will definitely colour it.

Oh my god, I'm updating again? Yep.

Guess what... it's a fully finished picture.
    Spoiler:

Holy sh- WHAT IS THAT! LOOK AT IT!

A freakin' background! How did that end up there?
To be honest, this piece needed one, so I had no choice. As you can see, I made several additions/changes to the lineart. Mainly the hair.
For colouring, I used my new method with something extra put into it.

    I'm so proud of myself.
Oh, he's half naked. No one will notice...

Half naked Comil gazing at the stars on the full-moon night. This is actually kinda hilarious if I put it that way. Any way this pick gives Very natural vibes. Should have stated in in the comment on DA, but it looka like traditionally made collage.

Actually, I mostly draw men half naked because I rarely draw women because I can't draw them fully naked because the clothes would get in the way.

I was basically just doing random things with random brushes.
I also eliminated the use of inked lineart. It takes up a lot of time and doesn't look that good. So, pencil-lines only~

    Chibi-time!

I hereby present you the very first LONZ chibi:
    Spoiler:

Aaaand another, slightly different version which I like better:
    Spoiler:

Let me say, that this is my best chibi yet. Out of like, two, honestly I think I managed to make him cute but elaborate at the same time. Look, he's all ready for kicking some ass with his cute axe.
His air goes all over the place~

Aaaand chibi Comil. I've seen other chibi Comils, so mine isn't the first one.
    Spoiler:

Chibi Lonz looks better to be honest, but for a third chibi, this is good. Gah, chibi hands are fun to draw. As you can see, he's very incomplete.

And now for something entirely different; Kadar:
    Spoiler:

His shoulder is a little bit off.
He cries because he realized what an ass he was. "Gimme back those slaves, they are the property of the Celestia Dragons blahblahblah" Good thing Fisher Tiger told him what was up. Now, he's full of regret, but he learnt his lesson well. He only needed a lil' beating.

    More Chibis:

    Lacroix:
    Spoiler:

Lacroix: Draw me properly you wretched moustached woman!
    Nope.

    He's so cute when pissed.

    HORNY sigh, Bastille:
    Spoiler:

There's something wrong with his coat.
His head is bigger than the others'
I drew him after I drank one lil' cup of wine.
His legs are completely not different from Lacroixs.
He's bigger (as in takes up more place in the paper) than Lonz and Lacroix. How ironic!
    Lonz finally has a partner!

Aw, Ronse is just great (second version), Comil is the cutest, Lacroix looks a bit like Akainu, only not as twisted, and I like Bastille. Kadar is cool too.

Lacroix always looks like Akainu. It's Oda's fault, I swear!

    Thanks:)

    Another chibi:

    Strawberry:
    Spoiler:

Way to go on holding those sabers so awkwardly I can't draw your hands properly. His left one is in the wrong position...

Lately, I forgot about my favourite OP character ever... A shame I tell you!

    Here he is:
    Spoiler:

And hasn't even got a moustache!

About the pic: way to go on choosing a pose that's freaking hard to draw and messing it up~ I like how his face and head with the helmet overall turned out tough.

Default Re: Art of the madness

Yeah like you said the pose you did is a hard one , but it turned out ok . And his face and helmet and such turned out very very good , if I do say so myself

Half-way through, I forgot what kind of pose I was drawing, so it became kind of half-assed. I might fix it tonight.

    A lil' update time!

    First, chibiStrawberry fixed:
    Spoiler:

Then, something new, chibiyoungStrawberry and chibiyoungMomonga:
    Spoiler:

I'm not satisfied with Momonga. Bleh, will redo him someday, maybe.... or maybe not.

    Spoiler:

I always wanted to draw Strawberry as a, well, strawberry.

He's not happy at all. But he's tasty... Mmm~

    And now something completely different:
    Spoiler:

A work in progress picture. Not even a fanart...
I was watching some Oblivion and Skyrim videos and I so wanted to draw one of those guards I drew something else! To be fair, he can still come out as a guard... or an adventurer... or a simple warrior... or a bodyguard.

What you see is basically just the pose and aside from the head, nothing elaborate. It will be later though. At least I have a body shape (which isn't that great, but oh well).
Some things still need to be changed. Like the feet. Or the belt position. And the tunic's lower half (covering most of the legs).

About the pose: it is the sign which basically says "I give up and don't have any magic in my hands".

Thank you~ I liked how he turned out. Most of my T-Bone drawings are influenced by the anime, which isn't that good, because compared to the manga, AnimeT-Bone is a hot, middle-aged man. Oda draws him much more old and zombie-like. Also skinnier. Which fits him because I don't think he eats that much. He probably gives his food away to his men or animals or orphans and such.

Remember that guard picture? Well, I continued:
    Spoiler:

    I made several changes:
    -fixed his feet
-that skirt thingy is now shorter
    -added a lot of stuff

Aaaand he's still unfinished. Eyyup. I like his expression though. "mmmmmm"

And oh god what can it be? Another fully colored fanart of one of the Giant Squad? How surprising!
    Spoiler:

Oh wait, it's just the sketch. Whatever~

So, I wanted to draw someone pretty badly, so I took a pencil and a paper and started. Then, I thought "Why not draw Kaal (yes, I'll call him that, because I named him and it's official)". I began drawing him from memory, got the rough sketch, then decided to look up some references when I made a splendid discovery. Two actually...
1, For the giant squad, the anime has several references that can be used. However, they are all crap. Well, almost. It's not the first time though. When I draw Doberman, half the time, I draw him with two normal eyes because anime decided to censor/not take notice of his blank one.
Secondly, the anime sometimes really draw people very differently from Oda. Which is understandable though.
2, You're probably saying now "Why don't you use the manga for reference dummy?". That's simple. Because it's too small most of the time. At least for me. And in case of the Giant Squad. For example, with Doberman, I don't have that much of a problem.

Drawing this picture made me realize, hell, reference pics are good and sometimes needed, but I should be careful with them. Heck, I memorized Kaal so splendidly, I could draw him in my style but still properly (meaning: people can recognize him. Not that there are many giants with beards and cat-hoodies around).

Now, here's the coloured version as promised;)
    Spoiler:

His ears came out the best. JUST LOOK AT THEM! So adorable. Imagine me clinging on it, pfftt

So I went ahead and finished ChibiLonz. Lonz, Ronse, Ronz. Lonz will be fine.

    Here he is!

    Spoiler:

Hey, look, a background! *slaps herself*
I'm pretty proud of this one. My first chibi with colours and stuff. Unfortunately, I didn't have any idea for the background, so yeah... I might change it later this day.
    Pfft, he's so cute.
