Then apparently you don't understand the concept, because we have confirmation that they AREN'T cutting off any video.

Nothing is being cropped ever again. FUNimation realized they messed up and that's why we have the ever delicious Dragon Box's. And we aren't getting the 4:3 episodes anyway (prolly because we hounded them for widescreen masters) so there are no worries.

Granted, that's definitely what they said, but I'll breathe easier when I see the proof in the pudding.

Man, it really feels odd to have season 4 licensed. Feels like yesterday I was scared that it may not happen.

They're adding random dub episodes every week. Like fan favorites or something like that. I imagine if 206 is added it will be for paid subscribers only. Or FUNimation might do what VIZ's online plethora does, and add 206 for free but 207+ will be for subscribers, in HD.

But other than that I don't plan on seeing it tonight. Though if it does happen I certainly won't complain!

I'll subscribe if it means new episodes of One Piece. Obviously. How would we find out about them being release though, if we aren't members?

Those who are members would tell us, but they'd most obviously advertise.

Panty and Stocking has gotten some kind of exclusive deal where subscribers get the Uncut DVD version, and they've been plugging the heck outta that.

Well, if there is any chance of seeing it anytime soon, it wouldn't have been last night. 205 was put up friday, i think (maybe saturday), so it holds that, if they're putting them up week by week, that we'll get it next Friday (maybe saturday). But it certainly seems like this would be too soon after their acquisition to be posting things already. It would be awesome, but too soon. I mean, if episodes are already done, why would they wait till summer to release? (I know production takes a while, but not six months...)

Aha. True. Hopefully, one is a subscriber [who checks there regularly and decides to tell us right away when they see it]. What I really meant to say is that I hope one of the regulars here is a subscriber.

Something tells me FUNimation is going to put the One Piece S4 episodes out for subscribers. They want to make money off of this, and what better way then to give One Piece fans something they've been asking for for months.

I meant eventually. Like the possibility of early/late spring. I don't think they would pass up the opportunity to profit from the One Piece​ fans.

I'd be cool with having the subbed/SD versions of 206+ available for free, with the dubbed/HD versions on their premium channel. Either way, though, I'm only planning on paying for what I can hold in my hands on this one.
