*reads comments* Who are these 4Kids fans and where did they come from?
*sighs* I just can't believe there's nostalgia for that dub.

And the Meek shall Inherit the Earth.
Funimation has been doing the dub for almost 4 years now and there are still stupid people who are just now realizing this.
Ignorance truly is bliss.
Actually, almost five years. It premiered on Toonami in September 2007.
I can't believe it's pretty much been half a decade.
Well when you've been a Naru-tard for 5 years (which sadly 85% of the YouTube anime community is) you don't pay attention to better dubs.
Like I've said before, I disregard ANYTHING on YouTube about anime videos. I don't think anything worth remembering has come from an anime YouTube video comment.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also I'm hoping FUNimation puts the Season 4: Voyage One episodes on their website for their subscribers. I've been meaning to take the free trial, and I want to be able to watch some new One Piece episodes with it too.
I was hoping for that too, but they seem to be constantly advertising it as 'on the same day as dvd'. So I doubt we'll get the episodes online before we get them from rightstuf.
Finally got around to watching that Season 4 trailer.... and holy fucking shit was that awesome. I'm psyched for it.
I've gotta say the music was definitely a really nice touch too... it really made it feel that much more exciting.
is there a way for me to watch it if I don't live in theUS or Canada

Colors are awfully saturated on this mirror though.
Not every anime fan uses legal streaming (although you can still watch dubs through fansub sites) or buys/follows DVDs. I don't necessarily blame them for not knowing about the FUNimation dub. I've heard of fans that still think 4Kids is dubbing it, now that's stupid.
Another awesome 101 video. Ridiculously excited for the continuation of this dub.
Purchasing priority shipping shouldn't affect early shipping, should it?
If you guys can't see the appeal of a hilariously bad dub then you obviously are way too jaded. 4kids did a terrible job bringing One Piece to the English speaking languages, but like Samurai Pizza Cats, its so bad its hilarious.
You can't tell me that the Vanilla Rice line is so bad its funny.
It's also because the 4kids dub was everyone's first impression of the series, so to most of the west, 4Piece is One Piece- and if you say it's actually a great show that's better than Naruto, DBZ, and Bleach in every way, you're usually laughed out of the room. That's why some of us are a little jaded about this whole thing.
New World is best world.
Warp Predator: "Law plays tetris"
It's hilarious to anyone that was already a fan of One Piece but for anyone who saw One Piece for the first time through 4Kids it just looks terrible. This was my situation: People I know liked One Piece while I had never seen it so I watched the 4kids dub and I thought they were insane for liking such a horrible anime. Hell, when I finally got into it I made One Piece my desktop background and my little cousin (8 years old) came over, saw it, asked if I liked One Piece and then said he thought it was a stupid show.
Bring Back Sarus!
Without KOS the forum is a POS.
Any time I recommend One Piece to someone I make sure to alert them there are two dubs, and to watch the FUNimation one. I basically tell them "If you hear swearing to the level of 'damn' or 'hell' you're watching the right dub".
I believe Luffy says 'hell' a few times in the first episode.
Nothing here for now.
Everyone has their own preferences, guys. Yeah, it might seem odd for some people to prefer some of the voices from the 4Kids dub... But whatever. That's on them. You shouldn't judge people.
Anyways, most of the people I meet don't like One Piece because it looks "lame" (and this is from watching my DVDs) and they just want straight action like DBZ or Naruto. So, even without the 4Kids dub, One Piece is a harder sell to casual people than DBZ and Naruto are.
Well there's that and the fact that it's almost 600 episodes in length and has no plans of stopping for the next decade. Not saying that's a bad thing but it does take dedication.
