    1. We asked for faster shipping. That's why.
    2. Dark Knight Rises... Boy, I picked a shitty weekend to go out of town. Regardless, One Piece is much more important than Batman, and there's no way this film can be as good as the last.

Not always. I always go with the default shipping and I get it the day after it ships.

It's Proximity to the shipping facility. Mikey happens to live like, right next door to wherever they ship from to the point that it would probably be faster getting it to him if a dude stood on the roof of the building and threw it towards Mikey's house.

Meanwhile, I'm a far ways a way near the edge of the country in World Two from Super Mario Bros. 3. So I have to wait no matter how much I paid in shipping.

Mine left Des Moines this morning and it should arrive tomorrow.

Feels strangely good to be getting it with the other early adopters.

...Huh, that once again reminds me that I haven't bought any of these sets since Season 2 Sixth Voyage... I really should get back to that at some point. For now though, I'm just looking forward to one of you guys getting them so that we can actually know if...
-that whole "Missing ED 14" thing from the streams also applies to the DVDs, (which would kinda suck)
-that whole "No translated credits or edited logos" thing from the streams also applies to the DVDs, (which I would honestly be much happier if were the case)
-the DVDs will actually have the widescreen-versions of 207 and on... I mean, I seem to recall FUNi implying that they would, but...

I'm pretty sure that all the other points will be fine, but also considering the trailer is widescreen, there ya go :P

FUNimation.com has uploaded to trailer for Collection Eight: http://www.funimation.com/one-piece/...-eight/4334921. Since the Collection Four trailer they've just copied the previous trailer and changed the random clip assortment, it even lists the episode count as 26 instead of 23!

Hmmm, indeed it is, and the trailer even points out that fact. I hadn't even tried watching the trailer before now because I just assumed I'd get the good old "This content is not available in your region!"-message anyway. Well, that's good to know.

Hey guys, I was just thinking, with the influx of posts and stuff that's going to be here soon, maybe we should make a new thread just for season 4 stuff. What do you guys think?

Also, I'm so glad that season four is finally here! We've only been waiting for four years.

You'd be happy having the people at FUNimation who worked at the show being completely left out of the credits? It won't apply to the DVDs since the streams always use the original animations and credits used in broadcast.

I don't know what it's like on the FUNimation stream, but Toei's Hulu stream skipped ED14 and went straight to ED15. This is likely to be the final product on the disc.

The Hulu streams are the exact same as the FUNi streams so yeah had the same thing going on in OP Official.

I don't think it's necessary. It's a DVD and we have a DVD thread right here. Nothing wrong with being excited but this really isn't that different from the previous releases.

They could just do what sentai filmworks does :which is keep everything like it is,and create an extra chapter or page or whatever its called to thank the VA's and adr director.

This way everything is kept and the original logo and animation is retained, while everyone's still getting credit. Then everyone wins

Like I said before this happend with the streaming of Inuyasha. Which Opening 6 didn't have the correct theme music, and the song was done by the same did band that Ending 14 of One Piece. Opening 6 of Inuyasha (with the correct theme music) is on the dvd verison of the episodes. So there is a good chance the correct song will be on Season 4, part 1. Since it probably they just can't stream the song with the episodes.

EDIT: Also, for reference, the preview is there, so the credits had to be purposely inserted to the video source and was not a mistake. Which... is weird, because I believe everywhere else got this ending song...

EDIT #2: If this is really a licensing issue with the band, then opening 8 is in trouble as well...
Unless they skipped to Opening 7 in Inuyasha I'd say this isn't the same thing. I hope you're right though.

Eh, I saw this in my Bakuman DVD for the first time and I couldn't stand it. I'd rather know who's involved in the episode right after I watch it instead of a long credits list I'm never going to sit through at the very end of the disc. Just felt lazy to me. And besides that the animation would still be altered, we have translated episode titles and the FUNi logo, so I don't even see the point.

Really? I rather liked it,everything is kept as it was meant to be seen. But eh,everyone has different preferences. (To clarify I'm actually fine with the way it is now) I just thought it would be the best way to appease both sides.

But I also keep forgetting about the logo as well, which is never gonna change.
