I must say that I hoped to see more of Synful Syn, since the very first sketches I read. I am glad it's shaping up to be a great comic. I like the format, the characters, the humor,.. everything, so what I want to say is keep doing what you're doing.

Wow two new ones at once!?
Finally one cool grown up to care for Syn! All the other grown ups we saw were not that empathetic, thank god Syn's mom is the complete opposite and freaking hilarious at that! Jackpot!
The part with the flashlight and her singing cracked me up! xD
And a new Puzzle piece for the plot! Who is Miss Silvestia? What happened with Syn's dad? I smell future plot material!
But let's deal with the mysteries at hand: Part nine is indeed...very, very cryptic.

I suppose I can answer some of your questions. Miss Silvestia was the school's drama/theater teacher. She was very (or too)obsessed with her work and dreamed to move her career beyond elementary. And yeah, something definitely happened with Syn's dad. I have several ways I can go about wrapping up that plot, so I'll stay quiet.

Merino Softwold is the name of the town Syn and everyone else lives in. A merino is a kind of sheep, even though the town itself was not named after a sheep. It was named after a the founder... Merino(no last name). He originally called the town Merino Softwood, but the people within the township called it Softwool since they thought about the actual sheep(thier wool is something that was prized in the economy). After Merino passed away, Merino Softwold became the official name. Wold has a meaning apparently, and it was a little coincidental, even for me O_o How many years ago this all had happened is not really graphed out, but it's not too important now. But I can say, the town was more country-like back then.

Thanks. My main problems with the prototype was the pacing and the amount I could have fitted on one page. Two stories per page felt alot better. That and the materials were expensive for something so "light". I'm glad you are liking the new format. After reading a manga with the same layout beforehand, I just had to give it a try and reboot Synful Syn.

First off, love the comic. Fria seems so awesome; she kinda reminds me of my mom with her weird songs. Only her's actually have words to hers, lol. And... some of those people from the second comic remind me of Mozu and Kiwi. I've yet to figure out why they look like that, but I'd love to find out soon. <3

Love your space pic. It looks so cool; partially because I looooovveee space to an incredible degree (most sceince facts I know have to do with space, actually haha). I love the moon and the earth, and I love the expressions. I love your ability so show so many expressions with so little efffort. And the flowers are adorable.

On the sketches; I love the demonic girl at the end. I hope to see more of her soon, her design looks really cool.

The red fighting scene looks awesome. Are those a few more of your OCs? Because if so, damn, your OCs are all freakin' awesome. I don't think you can create a crappy OC, Hiroy. Love the minimal level of detail. It makes the picture seem even more detailed with it's simplicity. And I love the feeling of motion between the characters.

I love the use of color in the pink picture. What are those blue things; jewels? I love how you just made the girl an outline, although I hope to see a more detailed picture of her. And I love the needle/string thing she's holding. You're very good at making something seem as if it's moving by using very little detail. Great job!

Aw.. Sorry the disappoint you Sai. The last two aren't OCs. It's fanart of webcomic called Homestuck ._. I figured I draw something to keep my sketch-blog updated, since I read it over a long period of time to catch up. But yeah, the first one is Dave Strider fighting his big bro, and the second one is Rose. She uses knitting tools for stabbing and constricting. I drew her as an outline because I wanted to match it with the style used in some of her of her action sequences. The gems... are Build Grist.. Enemies turn into them when defeated. Ever played or seen someone play The Sims? Well, Build Grist is the currency for placing items, expanding the size of a house, and a material for "alchemy".

Thanks for the compliments. I was experimenting coloring stuff with a small selection to see if it can work as a whole.. Otherwise they would have been just ordinary sketches.


Oh yeah. I wanted to make a color page... single lines. flat colors. no shading. Then I scrapped it.

Oooh~ That looks really interesting. I can recongnize two characters, Syn and Leo, but who are the rest? And what's with the fire behind that guy in the top right corner?

Well, aside from Leo, Syn and Evi.. The rest would be introduced in the next arc.. which is currently being rewritten in the beginning. The fire? I dunno. I needed a backdrop :( That's part of the reason why I scrapped this.

I see~ Well, are you gonna make a newer version for this? I mean, after you've finished with the next arc, are you gonna like, make a more current version?

I wanted to make one like... right now... to celebrate my 10th page and going beyond 10 pages. But I'm so bad at compositional ideas and background. Maybe I should not rush it and keep moving? I dunno.

I'd say keep going. Once you've finished this arc, I think you'll have a better idea of how to fit everything into a single page better than if you did it now. Plus it'd make more sense to your readers that way. ;)

Rewriting the beginning portions on the next arc and learning to draw the setting itself. Like the town or the school. Enough to release at-least one comic this week. The rewrites are just minor things and does not affect the main plot at all, but it's still grating on my mind.. It's not that I'm worried.

Secretive? Hahaha! Well, I try to answer as much questions as I can and even throw some hints that are either vague or obvious :D But I suppose I do need some help. I'm just bad at asking for help. It would be nice to share story ideas and general ideas with a select few people... like editors and other stuff. What's your offer?
