funny thing is with how bad Tenjou Tenge becomes I would still consider purchasing it because the art is just simply amazing.

Picking titles randomly without knowing what they are and then saying "What the hell is this?" is usually a good start for finding the true bottom of barrel. But you see... you can't bring it to almost anyone's attention since it's so obscure or unknown. Same thing applies for decent series or great things that never seen the light of the overall public. Even then, what one may interpret as "great" may be seen as terrible by another beholder... because well... People have different expectations of what should live up to hype, like the rating itself is solely based off its popularity or wide spread appeal rather than a stand alone product among many.

I hate Avatar. That's because I seen the movie. Slept through half of it. Was so bored and not interested. That's my stand alone opinion/experience of the movie and I can compare it to other movies that did a much better job. Do you think I cared about its success? What does that have do with the torture of my first hand experience? Oh yeah. Absolutely nothing. Are people idiots for liking it? Maybe, but that's not my business. Success just equals more earnings.
