Kuroko is simply no Slam Dunk. That's all.

Good manga doesn't just ride a fad, they CREATE a fad.
Captain Tsubasa, Slam Dunk, YAWARA!, Kinnikuman all had a huge influence in generating interest for the sports they represented.
That's what makes the difference between Landmark classics and dime-a-dozen snoozers.
