I went to Warped Tour, and I'm not sure if I regret it or not, because I've discovered bands I like, but most of them are frowned upon as "emo" "cutter" bands. Meh, I'm gonna say my favorite bands, both old and new:

All classics. Those are just some magical songs, especially Close to the Edge, which ranks as my favorite among those .

Yeah, I know and I do. My car's auxiliary cord is also a charger, though, so I rarely plug my iPod into my computer.

Please tell me you saw Andrew W.K. If I had the money and lived closer to one of the venues, I would buy a ticket just to see Andrew W.K. The only other band worth seeing for me on that setlist is the Dillinger Escape Plan.

Yeah, I saw him, but my friends didn't. They went to see Chiodos or All Time Low.

I'm more surprised that they wanted to see All Time Low over Andrew W.K. It's astonishing.

Pierce the Veil had an amazing show there, One of the best that day.

Frankly, I don't know if I'll make it to all of those, even. There were more that I wanted to get out to, but they're either at 21+ venues or sold out (Cap'n Jazz reunion sold out over two months ago and I never stood a chance ).

I am happily surprised to learn there are actually a good amount of love for 'old school' music in here. I began to have feelings of being the only one in my social circles who grew up listening to vinyl with The Beatles, The Who, Dylan, Frank Zappa, Hendrix, Zeppelin and so forth. Also grew up listening to violent organ music and classic music. :P

Definitely brought some of that with me further on, but actually can't claim to be an awesome music addict. Had a vinyl era where I bought a lot of 80's rock like Van Halen, AC/DC, Scorpions, Toto, Queen.

Had a flirt with some funk/r'n'b/hip hop and later on even got to appreciate electronic like daft punk.

90's dance is kind of nostalgic and fun for me, and also have a soft spot for world/cultural music as of Manu Chao, Amadou & Mariam, there's some pretty good stuff from Japan in this genre too.

Always try to broaden my horizon, but it's really hard to pick favourites since my taste changes all the time. Sometimes I even can't stand listening to music at all if it isn't live, so weird

I will be enjoying a Cap'n Jazz show in just a few weeks. And it only costs 5 bucks to get in.

Always great to see some Tom Waits, Public Enemy, Pixies, Gentle Giant and Explosions in the Sky love as well . Queens of the Stone Age, too, but I much prefer Kyuss. And believe me, if I allowed myself to include more than one album by an artist in mine, it would at least be more than double in size with just the Frank Zappa albums, haha.

And, though I rate The Wall lower on my Pink Floyd albums rankings, it should be awesome to see live.

I find Pink Floyd's music before Dark Side of the Moon better than after it, though Animals is a damn good album.

I don't know if I'd say I think it's better, but some of the music from DSofM, Wish You Were Here and The Wall is so overplayed that I get a little tired of it and their older stuff is like a breath of fresh, sprightly air. I like that they didn't take themselves so seriously.
