I've also heard 90's quite a lot, FWIW. Doesn't mean they couldn't change it, but nearing the ending the filming as they are...

Maybe it's 90s. I've heard both. Still. Both very colorful and tacky decades lol.

LOL. My first thought was that it was in the 70s for some reason. Anyway, Wikipedia says it's set in the 90s.

I've been hearing from a friend that Wonder Woman 2 is having Kristen Wiig play Cheetah. Now, as much as I respect her as an actress, I don't think she can pull off a role like that, or at least what it would demand of a main villain if indeed that is the intent of the character. Further, I don't see how a mere Killer Croc style hybrid animal-human is intended to pose any kind of threat to a hero that tangled with the likes of Doomsday on a semi-even footing. I know DC is stepping on rakes left and right but this seems like the sort of thing they ought to see from afar is not a good idea but hell, that's never stopped them from screwing up before.

If Lex Luthor can pose a threat to Superman just with his genius level intellect alone it's not that far fetched to imagine Cheetah posing a threat to Wonder Woman.

But he didn't pose any kind of threat to Superman. Batman did and simultaneously got the Kryptonite needed to kill him, and saved Supes' mom. It's only due to shit writing that any of Luthor's plans got off the ground. Really not wanting to see that happen in the sequel to what is supposed to be the only good DCEU movie.

Wasn't talking specifically about Batman vs Superman, though if we're to count that even with shit writing his machinations there would still count.

    I'm thinking SNL skit.

Well, if it's as light-hearted as that image makes it seem, then...yeah, I'm excited...maybe?

    Also, costume looks great.

As long as it is able to tell a fun story and not try to push a shitload of cameo DC characters it should work.

Why is all the promo stuff him drinking things?

I really don't like that suit. It looks like a muscle padded costume my dad would wear for Halloween.

Like I know that he worked out but nothing looks real lol.

Kids like soda? At least that's why I think they do it.

Yeah, the suit just doesn't look quite right. I'm glad they went with fabric rather than typical hero molded plastic crap, but something about it just looks... cheap?

Maybe it's the lightning bolt? I think its because all the metal bits look off.

I dunno Chris Reeves looked fine as Superman, and he wasn't anywhere near that big. ANd you look at how they translated the Dr. Stange outfit and that looked great. SO I dunno what exactly is off about it or they could fix.

Because he's doing it in a childish manner and making goofy faces. You don't normally see a superhero stopping to grab a coke.

It's amazing how big a difference it makes not having underwear on the outside anymore.

Well, we agreed Jared Leto didn't do the job as Joker, maybe Joaquin Phoenix will do a better one?

I think the design of the suit is fine, it just looks plainly stuffed with cotton for muscles or something.

I appreciate a costume that looks like it would on a real person.

The hood-cape will never not look like shit however.

I didn't hate Letto's Joker. I think he did a fine job at selling the weird loving relationship he had with Harley.

Joaquin Phoenix is such an awesome that it should only exist in comic book or an animated action movie.
