I've always been curious about the fan's feelings about A Pup Named Scooby Doo. I enjoyed it as a kid, but I can understand if people thought it was annoying.

It (To me) was bland and i didnt really enjoy it. Now that i think about it, i LOVED Scooby Doo but HATED this show.

Although the Opening was kind of catchy.

I liked Pup Named Scooby Doo. It was very silly, which was great considering that it was often on Cartoon Network around the time that shit like Baby Looney Toons was on.

I, unfortunately, watched that too. The fuckers were cute. Cuteness is my greatest weakness.

Not even the power of cuteness can make me watch Baby Loony Toons.

I did like A Pup Named Scooby Doo. <3

Scooby Doo a fragment of my childhood =D, and something on the television that me and a cartoon me and my father can actually have a conversation about.

Anyway, does anyone remember that Diver guy?, used to scare the hell out of me when I was 6 years old .

Also Cam Clarke is in the Scooby Doo Movie (The Zombie Island one), Who's voice is so distinguishable you can instantly tell it's him.

Never realized that Liquid Snake was in zombie island.

The three stooges one was so bad, but since it was one of the earliest vhs i ever got i still really cant hate on it.

Yeah i was pondering that a while back. Seemed a little incesty for a kids show.

I loved how he was the baddie in one of the films lol
That movie was exactly what made me know that people hated him, haha. I had no idea.

The first live-action movie has a deleted scene where Velma is possessed or something and taunting Daphne in a locker room with a bunch of other possessed teens. That scene was ridiculously hawt, so I can understand why parents were uncomfortable with it.

Mark Hamill is in there as well as the redneck fisherman. It's odd to think that Zombie Island was originally an unused Swat Kats script since it works so well; of course, it's easy to see it in the character designs of the monsters after you've been made aware of that little fact.

I Love 'Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue'. I don't like any other Scooby media. Even though i saw the old cartoons A LOT when i was a kid, i dont have any nostalgic feelings about it.

But yeah... 'Get a Clue' is actually funny, and i like it simply for not being so freakin' repetative. I was surprised that it seems mostly ignored, but then i remembered that people hate most new spins on any franchise. Nevertheless, there's no good reason to ignore this show. Shaggy and Scooby are perfectly in character, Robi is a great character, the humour isn't cringe-worthy, the voice acting is good, the villains are entertaining... the list goes on.

    All the way with Calloway.

I also liked zombie island, and have vague memories of a stooges/ghost town special.

And then I look at pokemon....

Also, Scooby and the Zombie Island was the best. They were self aware parodying some of the kinks of the older material while playing it straight.

    Also. Scooby meets Johnny Bravo.
Dont forget the power rangers! But they DO have some degree of character development and definite beginings and endings.

People watch Scooby Doo cuz is an easygoing comedic show anyone can pick up if without getting tangled by arcs and developments.

From what I heard of "Get a Clue", it essentially has another "Vincent Price" parody...but this one based on his Dr. Phibes character instead of...you know, Vincent Price. (BTW: "Abominable Dr. Phibes" = weird but good)

@No Ma'am: Somehow I appreciated Scooby Dum because...well, he was silly. Just seeing someone even stupider than even Scooby, even if he was essentially just a country hick stereotype, just made me laugh.

    Wait whaaaaa....
Oh. That makes absolute sense. And Swat Kats always had awesome stories. We need more Scooby movies based on unused scripts from other great 90s shows.

Did we ever even see his owners anyway ?

Does anybody else hate velma or is it just a joke between me and my brother. This is how my brother;s friend ranked the characters on scooby doo

    1. Scooby
    2. Shaggy
    3. Fred
    4. Daphne
    5. Scrappy
    6. The mouse that messes with Scooby
    7.
    8. Velma

Anyway, what are peoples opinions on the movies that they come out with like every 9 months. I think they're pretty good as a splash of new material. Though with this new series we get a splash every week. Still, I'm always patiently awaiting the next one. Thanks Swat Kats for sparking this eries of movies
