the boomerang is definitely a new model. It looks thicker, and has bandages wraped around the handle.

It shows how adorable Aang and Katara were in their younger years as parents.

But when did it ever say they has a daughter,or was it guess at the sex ratio of their children. And I thought they had thee children, with Tenzin being the youngest(who in guessing is the kid Aang is holding).

well in that case; how do you know it's not bull shit? :)

*squee can't wait to see if it's true or not*

serious though. I can see them doing that. It's a new series. It's time to focus on Korra. If they start plunking old characters in everywhere, it's going to take away from the new stuff. It's hard to say either way.

You would think Toph would still be alive cause she was the youngest.

    And, ya'know, awesome.

Anywho my thoughts on the Promise,

    Spoiler:
Its great to see the political complexities of undoing the damage of a 100 year war, by showing the more sympathetic, human side of the fire nation colonies. it adds a great breeze of realism, and credibility to this fantasy world. And the action is well drawn and dynamic enough that it feels like your viewing an action storyboard right from the show.
Really love the idea of the girl who tried to assassinate Zuko being of mixed heritage(she's an earthbender with firenation blood) It does forshadow the future character's of Mako and Bolin and Republic City,
But my main prob comes from Zuko asking Ozai for help.

This is the man who tried to kill him for power
The man who drove his mother away from him
The man who said Azula was born lucky, and he was just lucky to be born.

Even with all that pressure I still don't buy him asking for his oldman's advice

I'm really glad that they are not saying that "Oh well, Fire Lord's gone. Everything is peaceful now". It's not like I expected them to do that, but I'm glad that they didn't even remotely go in that direction. Also have we seen any inter-nation family? I think this is the first time we've seen it. I thought of Mako and Bolin when reading, however it didn't come off as a "Korra" advertisement or anything, not even bridging the gaps between the series, just a continuation, which is amazing.
