i proudly managed to finish Aang's story (minus the Promise comics) & now started watching Korra up to episode 4. Guys I am seriously in love with this show, we need more shows like this not just for kids but just on TV in general.

Rewatched the first few episodes of Korra with my brother, just noticed Korra has got some superhuman strength going on. She lifted a dude by the collar by a single hand, no sweat, not to mention she seemingly effortlessly flung those Triple Triad guys across the street into shop windows. Me likey, but I didn't know super strength was a perk of Avatarness.

Did it had something to do with the bending she first learned? I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but she was a natural at Earth Bending before the other elements... And Earthbenders are typically strong physically.

I think she learned Water first because that's how her order is supposed to go (Water-Earth-Fire-Air).

Yeah, she learned Water-Earth-Fire. Hence why in the first episode we saw her taking her fire bending test, before she could move on to Air.

So next episode could be really good or really annoying depending on how it goes.

    Spoiler:
From what I can gather, it's a shipping episode. There's the tournament, but the focus seems to be on relationships.

Like I said, I'm just enjoying the ride. Plus, I find the creators trolling funny, but this episode could make or break the enjoyment.

    Huh.

I know this will be a popular episode for many, and I understand that. I also get why people enjoy these storylines so much.

But so far, the series has seemed much more interested in producing pairings and romantic intrigue when we've barely had time to establish the characters and the larger stakes of the game. It's lovely for those interested in that kind of thing--which I would guess is a large cross-section of their audience--but for viewers like me that are more interested in the universe and the larger adventure, kind of losing the plot.

    SPOILERS
    Spoiler:
    Omg
    The 5th episode is on
And there is so much shipping trolling

Mako likes Korra who likes Mako back but Mako is dating Asami and Bolin likes Korra and tries to get a date on her constantly throughout the episode but Korra doesn't like him back that way and Korra confronts Mako about their feelings for each other and then the 'you like me don't you' scene comes--
AND OMG THE MAKORRA KISS SCENE (HE KISSES BACK)
    IT'S HERE

AND BOLIN WAS THERE TO WATCH IT WITH FLOWERS LOOKING SO ADORABLE AND RAN AWAY CRYING

So then Mako yells at Korra for crushing Bolin's heart while Korra beats herself up over her stupidity
And Bolin is still crying awwww ;A; BOLIN

Of course it all ended up okay in the end but still
I was roaring with laughter at all the trolling.

Nah, I don't like spoiling people who don't like to be spoiled. If you wanna be spoiled, click the tag, and if you don't wanna be spoiled, don't click the tag. lol. It makes more sense that way.

I hope you could still enjoy the episode tho! I know I was laughing like a rapid hyena all throughout this.
