Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

Eh, despite Korra having the generic 'tough gal' personality I wonder what her past is and I'm interested with her chemistry with the new villain (who sounds interesting) and her accomplices. I can't wait to see what an old fart Aang has become, and how this series ties together with the old.

I meant dark in tone, that's just gross and not meant to be taking seriously(since Zim is a comedy show)

A kid having complex disturbing psychological visons of her mother, that causes her to go bat-shit insane is much more darker to me, that's Evangelion territory.

Actually as an Avid Invader Zim fan I have to say this episode still creeps me out and I find it in no way funny when Zim is stealing peoples organs right out of their body, I have to disagree with you and say it's pretty dark. But I can agree that it's less dark than your example.

As long as we're talking about the filler episodes in the first half of season 3, I felt that they were pretty much hit or miss. It's a shame that the writers weren't given enough freedom, because it would've worked out better if the entire season was about planning on invading the Fire Nation like they had planned. My favorite episodes to come out of it were probably "Sokka's Master", "The Runaway" (Mostly because it made up for the lack of Toph focus), and 'Nightmares and Daydreams". The second half of the season pretty much made up for the other, sub-par episodes to come from it.

Well I am also a Zim fan, and Its dark but in a comedic deliciously twisted classic Vasquez.

Its creepy, but the type of dark I'm talking about is that serious scary dark.

A preteen girl that has mother issues, loses her already crumbling sanity thanks to her past inability to form an adequate relationship with her mother, whom she represses her memory of, That turns her paranoid, homicidal, and in the end mentally broken. That just hits the nerves more than Zim's organ harvest(for me at least)

Aang is going to aparear as we remember him, the spirit guides take the form that the person sees him/her self. We can safely asume that Aang would keep his spirit young all his life.

#OnTopic: The 2nd half of Season 3 starting with "The Southern Raiders" starts on monday on Nicktoons. Yetserday I watched "The Boilling Rock" episodes, and I remember how I really enjoyed them before since it doen't focus on Aang and gives Sokka and Zuko their moments to shine. And it's canon too. Very enjoyable, probably my favorite episodes from the 2nd half of Book 3.

But anyway, for Avatar week I tried watching the series on Netflix again....couldn't do it though sadly. I only made it to episode 10. It is a great series, but I just got Zelda 3DS...so you understand? XP

I actually have to force myself to get into the mood for first season again after being spoiled by the second one. Every episode feels like a filler to Toph's first appearance haha
But once I'm back in the good old avatar mood, I remember why I liked the first season so much. It's weird that the last and "most epic" third season didn't do it for me as much except for 4 or 5 episodes.

Also, this Saturday from 4:00 - 5:00 will be the 1st The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra panel in room 6BCF during SDCC this weekend. That same morning the creators themselves along w/The Track Team will be at a signing for a brief period. Hopefully at the panel we will be getting some concrete news.

Thanks for the info! This is hella sweet. Consider me officially hyped ad impatient now. I was wondering what kind of animal they would come up with and that is a great hybrid animal, living up to the tradition of mixing up different animals.
Can we expect it to be capable of water bending or will it be just a good swimmer? Probably the latter, but I'm just wondering since all the other companions were able to bend their respective elements to an extent (Appa, Roku's Dragon).

Also lucky bastards to be at the panel now, chilling with the creators and the Track Team. They are pretty awesome too. I actually found myself enjoying their other stuff aswell, apart from the music they did for Avatar.

Yes of course, but everyone here is talking about their likes/dislikes on the last half of Book 3 so I looked at my guide and saw the episodes we were talking about are airing next week. So I told everyone.
