Beside the fodder series that got the axe nice and quickly I also know of some series that had a decent start like bleach but after time crashed and burned hard... but some how they are still alive and kicking. I'm just not putting out names cause I don't wanna piss off any fans and start some stupid argument.

well finally watched bleach's anime after god knows how long. only the most recent episode mind you

but then watching the ending song/credits, it really does seem like it could end. that is a very finale looking closing song.


edit: hm i also see that nartuo at 197 is finally back to the manga and not some giant made up flashbacks

so, I read the chapter again, since I had just skimmed at first. It's...well...seems like a pick up. I'm not saying Bleach is going to get good, just maybe it'll pick up it's pace a little now.

Anyways, Ichigo's "fullbring" is basicially a sword attack without a sword?

Meh, it's a YYH ripoff now that the trolling's over... And the Sensui will probably be Aizen mk II, so why did I bother catching up today?
And of course no one should have expected anything creative from Kubo with regards to Ichigo's Fullbring. Why change the bland spambot after 400+ chapters?

How is skin an inanimate object? Even if it's dead skin it's still organic and should count as part of Chad, not something else... I guess Kubo can't stop trolling though. He remembers that Yoko-chin guy but not the coin Chad had that was in that same mini/subarc.

At least this was faster to catch up with than Bakuman, but Bleach is always faster to catch up with than anything, less dialogue and backgrounds to distract from the faux coolness.

And I'll probably be about as active posting as I have been lately, or maybe more or less weekly weighing in on 1-3 series (since "as I have been lately" = several months absence, doesn't it? lol). Busy, and not going to force discussion out of myself vs taking care of things. Forcing discussion is why the next nakamate thread is full of terrible ideas anyway.

as soon as i saw this i lol, but it did inspire me to make my own version of it, only this time ichigo is in sage mode.


anyway on to the chapter i think kubo just lack ideas to improve his story, i was expecting something totally different for ichigo, i mean this feels like to me his using shinigami powers, but the only difference without a zangetsu sword.

i would have been happpy with this kinda form for ichigo, as part of his shinigami/hallow ability moves, but is too cheap imo for a fullbring power like from kubo.

that dude from the last page, design wise looks rather refreshing.

I really don't know what Kubo plans to do with Bleach. I seriously don't think he can drag out Bleach for 10 years, it is just impossible, he is going to be killed by ex-fans within two years. I cannot understand how there are still hardcore fans who think huge panels are worth a thousand words.

A random question just came to mind. On this selection of the forum there are worser manga or just as bad as say bleach and naruto but (not pointing out a series) apparently none of these series gets even a quarter of the bashing bleach gets and the hand full of users that post in those thread are left alone without the worry of getting bash for liking said series etc... why is bleach singled out and other popular "bad" manga not?

There aren't that many mangas worse than Bleach.
