Qatar hosting a football world cup is the saddest joke I've heard this year. Fuck you Blatter!

Even if they changed the rule, it still makes sense to rotate the competition between the continents to help promote the game worldwide.
Besides USA got in in 1994 I think. A bit too soon to get it again!
I know that it was up to discussion because not many countries in Africa could afford a world cup.

Yepp USA got it in 94. Still remember the official song. Gloryland

Are you saying that these accusations weren't legit ? Shall I recall you that 2 FIFA members were banned and so unable to vote today ?
I'm not even against Qatar 2022, I'll wait for Qatar 2011 Asian Cup to forge my opinion. But you can't blame BBC for revealing that there is corruption within FIFA. Which isn't really a surprise, mind.

Next time the United States has to bid for an international sporting event, I want them to bribe the fuck out the officials. Make it absolutely certain that we're getting the WC or the Olympics.

    This is some petrodollars bullshit.

First of all...YES, Dortmund got his final game vs. Sevilla.
Will be fucking nice to watch.

Having 2018 Russia as host is okay, even when iam a bit concerned about when the game will be aired then in my country.

Quatar is just a fucking jokes in my eyes.
Iam not totally against it like other, but pls, how did they get it?
I mean even that the team of Quatar has now a safe spot in the tournament..fucking what?
I have never ever even see them win ONE game against a team that is not around position 150th in the FIFA rankings.
All are so far on the train of "everything in the near east is expensive, cool etc", like Formula1 got their first time now down there.
But seriously Quatar for a FIFA world cup?
Just making stadiums to later destroy them again...lol.
I guess money can handle anything, but Platter reasoning it with "give football everywhere a chance"..yeah right
(hope next time Zimbabwe tries to get it, so give them also a chance)
The epic battle of BusterCall vs. Don is decided !!!
And the results are 3:2 for Don..

Eh. I'm sort of relieved that England isn't hosting the World Cup when we have a subpar team.

Wouldn't want a World Cup home defeat! We have a clean sheet on that!

    2003 - S. Korea/Japan = Asia
    2006 - Germany = Europe
    2010 - S. Africa = Africa
    2014 - Brazil = America
    2018 - Russia -again Europe
    2022 - Quatar - Middle East..

..yeah.. i guess they whant to give everyone a chance
    but..as DON said..
quatar don´t have a good team..
..this is a total deja vu kind of thing about this year on South Africa
AP is dying...Who will save it ?

Well FIFA shot themselves in the foot since they wanted China to host a WC as soon as possible, but that's won't happen until 2030 at least since a continent can't host two consecutive World Cups, and Qatar is part of Asia.

At least South Africa had a football history. Qatar sucks and has always sucked.

The most important question here is:"Has Quatar any cultural instruments that can be mass produced to annoy football fans?".
If the answer is yes then it was a wrong decision to give Quatar the WC.

Inter - Bayern : Wow, a remake of last year's final.
Lyon - Real : déjà vu ? Unfortunately I highly doubt Lyon will be as lucky as in 2010.
Arsenal - Barcelona : As long as this is not last we's Arsenal, they might give a fight to Barça. Although... well, actually maybe not, but I want them to...

i support two teams. my family/local/true team, and one of the big four.

I'm a true supporter of Derby County, and a glory supporter of Manchester United. There's no shame in being a glory supporter if you openly admit it.

might as well make some predictions.

    Roma v Shakhtar Donetsk

    AC Milan v Tottenham

    Valencia v Schalke

    Inter Milan v Bayern Munich

Lyon v Real Madrid (maybe they can do it again)

    Arsenal v Barcelona

    Marseille v Manchester United

    Copenhagen v Chelsea

Barcelona will probably repeat the Madrid performance and rape Arsenal in every hole.

Yeah I like Arsenal but they don't have a hope against barca. I'll throw down predictions
    Hidden:

    Roma v Shakhtar Donetsk

    AC Milan v Tottenham

    Valencia v Schalke

    Inter Milan v Bayern Munich

    Lyon v Real Madrid

    Arsenal v Barcelona

    Marseille
    v Manchester United

    Copenhagen v Chelsea

I'm not that confident with some of the predictions just going with my feeling with them all.
I will laugh big time if Lyon beat Madrid again
