Any news on kuja or zidane? Or anyone from IX?
Any news on kuja or zidane? Or anyone from IX?
Used to be called BHK3
Setzer WOULD work as an assist, though.
Terra covers basic magic combat, and besides the crazy things Edgar could do with his tools, none of the other FF6 fighters do anything special.
Edgar would work great. Chainsaw melee attack, ranged attacks with AutoCrossbow and the sound wave gun thing, list goes on. The only issue is what the hell his EX Mode and Burst would be.
A man can dream right?
...As much as I don't want to say it, I know you're right. Though I think Locke and Celes might be a bit difficult, we already have Zidane and Terra who both fill the Thief fighter and Super Mage. Actually the more I think about it Celes seems very unlikely in me eyes. Shinnato and Kefka are both Pure mages as well. How about Shadow. We don't have a ninja yet and Edge is pretty much out. Umaro would be sweet, but that's again a far off dream lol.
Onion Knight switches between Ninja and Sage in his EX Mode, and most of his melee attacks are the kind of speedy moves Shadow would do. Moves with Shadow's dog are out, too, because Yuna already summons helpers for her moves.
The FF6 cast is pretty much screwed.
Heh...sounds like it...I forgot about Onion Knight XD and I didn't know what Yuna did, although she sounds cheap.
Yuna'll probably play like something between Terra and Emperor; projectile heavy, but her projectiles will come from assists she summons, much like the traps Emperor sets. She'll likely have free movement after she summons one, but she'll likely only be able to summon one at a time.
Damn man XD You really know your stuff, I formally apologize to you for arrogance from the other day. I haven't given up though. I'll keep thinking about other characters. While I'm at it. Do you have any speculations on who they will add?
I think, if they're not pretty much done, those two "maybe"s will be the last ones we get. Sazh, and probably someone from Tactics. I can't see them adding too many more characters.
Like I said the other day, FF6 had the only playable Moogle in the franchise, outside of Tactics.
Mog and his many dances of the elements could be interesting.
Just played the demo. Kain owns, really kickass character. I'm definitely maining him.
The Assist System is fun and addictive as hell. I've been experimenting combos with assists all day.

I don't see it posted here, but the release date's March 22nd, guys.
And please don't give us that crap about "LEWL we already have someone like that".
Tell that to Warrior of Light, Bartz to an extent, Cloud, Squall, and Tidus.
Shadow'd make a great character who can work with Ninja-esque moves, like casting Vanish on himself and causing his opponent to lose the ability to target him, Interceptor joining in on attacks, tossing Shuriken, and more.
Setzer could have a luck-based playstyle. Perhaps, he can roll some dice as his HP attack. Not only would he deal damage, but any further Brave attack damage is dependent on the value of the roll. As Setzer levels up, he can use more dice.
Warrior of Light's fighter skin is the most awesome thing I've seen in a while. I've always hated his old design.
ΩMEGA PIRATES: 10 Members
Status: On a quest of knowledge.
Threat Level: Apparently Higher Than I thought
Goal: Assassination of Priority Targets
Bartz - copycat character who combines existing moves.
Cloud - slow-striking heavy-hitter. The only "heavyweight" fighter on the Cosmos side.
Squal - fast, rapid hits.
Tidus - Agile, floaty, propels himself with his attacks.
These characters are nothing alike, or are you just going by the fact that they're bishonen with swords?
That Vanish idea would be broken as fuck, and the rest is already covered by one character or another.Shadow'd make a great character who can work with Ninja-esque moves, like casting Vanish on himself and causing his opponent to lose the ability to target him, Interceptor joining in on attacks, tossing Shuriken, and more.
Level ups don't effect attacks like that, and a luck-based character, especially one that rolls some random dice, would be wildly unpopular with players.Setzer could have a luck-based playstyle. Perhaps, he can roll some dice as his HP attack. Not only would he deal damage, but any further Brave attack damage is dependent on the value of the roll. As Setzer levels up, he can use more dice.
The FF6 crew are screwed.
Not if it works like FF11 and wears off if any action is performed. And again, so what if Yuna can Summon? Interceptor doesn't have to work the same way. That Vanish idea would be broken as fuck, and the rest is already covered by one character or another.
Level ups can have an affect on the damage formula.Level ups don't effect attacks like that, and a luck-based character, especially one that rolls some random dice, would be wildly unpopular with players.
Which is really dumb, considering I'd rather have a character than the Phantom Train stage, and FF6 has such a large variety of characters to work with. Ignoring that is a total waste. Same with FF9.The FF6 crew are screwed.
