I just re-read some volumes of the Alabasta saga. Can't deny that awesomeness. It made me forget all that negativity about Vivi. I especially loved Vivi and Crocodile's little exchange right before he drops her off the building. The ending of that arc was spectacular too... hey, that would make a great filler match.

Why is Southbird even in this poll? Wasn't it obvious to the mods that it'll win? So what's the point of this poll anyways?

So at first, I was gonna vote for Southbird, but then I said to myself, "But Kylor, did the Southbird even do anything?" And then I said, "Well, yes, one of them pointed the crew towards the Knock-up stream, and a flock of them saved Chopper and Gan Fall." But then I said, "Well, besides that?" And I was like, "Um... well, y'see," And then I interrupted myself, saying "Did you even find those parts notable in the first place?" And then I was like, "Okay, before the tournament, I never put much thought into the Southbird in the first place, but still, Perona! And Vivi cries a lot." And then I rationally said, "So Kylor, we both know that Perona must not win, as she's irritating, and we both hate that sort of character. But was Vivi all that bad? I mean sure she cried at the end of Alabasta, but all the stuff she did before that must make up for a lot of it, right?" And then I said, "Oh, you mean infiltrating Baroque Works, attempting to stop that rebellion all on her own, defeating Mr. 7 and that frog lady, and other neat things, not to mention that whole awesome sequence when the Straw Hat crew left Alabasta, and put their fists into the air all awesome-like?" And then I smiled and said, "Exactly. Does the Southbird still seem great now?"

kylor has the right idea. not enough vivi hate though. hey! remember, southbird was a great source of entertainment at zoro's expense. I think that's worth noting.
