Looks really good. I've been looking at this for a while since i'm a big fan of Level-5 games.
Still waiting for Dark Cloud 3 though....

Hey bro! Here's how you do it.
Never heard of it before. Great graphics.

Wait, I thought this was being made for the DS.
I think it's coming out for both.
It is. This makes me wish for an HD port of Dragon Quest VIII so bad.
*whistles*
Level 5 continues to prove that they're friggin' awesome
I saw this the other day and I can't wait. Combine the beautiful atmospheres of Studio Ghibli and Professor Layton? Gunna. Be. Awesome.
Level 5 I always think of like Tri-Ace. They develop games with some awesome systems and potential, but there's always something that detracts from the final product.
Here's hoping they hit it out of the park on this title, because a fancy PS3 collab with Ghibli and Hisaishi isn't something that's likely to happen again.
Looks pretty fun. Haven't been this exited for a jrpg for a while.
I'm quite surprised that there wasn't a thread before this. The game simply looks amazing.
Actually, there was. But like many threads on this forum, the search function has put it on their ignore list. I sure can't find it, but I know there was one.
I'm currently having a back-and-forth with someone on twitter who says Ni no Kuni doesn't visually look all that great.
looks too much like a cartoon! almost like the graphics were done by some crappy anime studio!
needs more muscle. more grit. more gray. like gears of war. oh, the incredible gray. it just pops out of the screen.
No, actually. He's a big anime fan, that's what he's on about. He says 3D will never look as good as 2D animation, and that this game more or less insults him for even trying. He says the DS version is superior cause it actually has traditionally animated Ghibli cutscenes in it.
Wonder if he hated Wind Waker also.
Sorry, but this game also gives me similar vibes as to when I saw WW for the first time. Ni no Kuni takes that style a step further. Very excited for this game, and I'm leaning towards the PS3 version, though I might just end up with both.
Looks great. Let's hope the story doesn't suck beyond belief this time.
Level 5 has done an amazing job with the Layton games. I suspect this will be awesome.
