This just goes to show how awful the 8PM slot is. I'm glad Parks isn't really drowning in that slot though. It's still really iffy though
Its crazy how this guy has an oscar nomineeSpoiler:

Heh, bye Whitney and Chelsea~ (1.4s against CBS AND ABC repeats and a fading Idol)
Potential bad news though is that I read somewhere that NBC ordered 8 comedy pilots for next season. I don't know the normal number, but 8 sounds like a lot, which might lower Community's chances of renewal, even though the other two comedies are falling fast.
Fingers crossed though that Community will flourish in a better slot.~
They ordered 12 actually, but usually more than half of the pilots ordered don't actually get picked up.

An ordered pilot is nothing but a pilot. The company then decides, after seeing the pilot and testing it with audiences, if it will actually order a season for the series.

Kind of sad how this thread has devloved into a ratings watch for other shows.
Hopefully we get some kind of news soon. Other than the production tweets Harmon and Co like to post.

It's friday night y'all. You know what that means!

Eesh, yeah, sorry, even I'm getting annoyed posting them. But it really does come down to the fact that Community's success sort of does depends on everything else's failure.
I have been contemplating making a thread devoted solely to TV ratings though.
Maybe a general TV thread where we can discuss anything like ratings, recommendations, new TV shows and Chuck's amazing series finale.

I want to call that number!!!!
Okay I'll try to keep the ratings round-up short.
30 Rock had a series low with a 1.3 last night. Parks and Up All Night stabilize at a 1.8. Whitney and Chelsea rise to a 1.7 after another night of ABC comedy repeats.

The 30 Rock 1.3 was because of a DVR error that made DVRs fail to record the episode due to having last week's description.

NBC's Superbowl video, Community gets a 8 seconds dedicated to it. The video is mostly 30 Rock centered, which in context makes sense. The Office got 22 seconds dedicated to it, and a lot of the later shows in the video got even less than Community.
NBC Executives: "Hey NBC shows guess what, in order to save our mediocre network we're going to go the Glee route and have you all sing about brotherhood and such."
Community:"But we're on hiatu.........."
NBC Executives:"BROTHERHOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD"
Putting a low rated show behind the Super Bowl is suicide. Better to put a show that's already a succes there and ensure it stays a succes. Then they can use The Voice commericals later on to promote other shows.
There's a discussion about it here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/225-t...st-tv/61861589
Also, Smash, which premieres tomorrow, is very excellent! The first episode has been on iTunes for a couple of weeks and I enjoyed it a lot.

Whoops, finally watched that video through illegal means because my country blocks it and now I get you aren't complaining about what I thought you were complaining about.
Still, the video was kind of cool.
