I will send $200 to anyone who has the cojones to watch the whole series in the dark. Alone.

Dude, been there done that.
I'll do it again and record myself this time if ya want.
I burned season 1, with all the TTA responses in the right place, onto a DVD, handmade a booklet with the twitter posts and images from season one, and gave it out as a Christmas present.
To be honest, I never found this series creepy at all, but damn if it ain't cool and interesting. Lots of great touches, and some damn good production values for a shoestring budget.
And I fucking love totheark's response videos. They're just so bizarre that they're awesome.
I watched this with three of my friends a couple of weeks ago. We watched all the videos that night. These guys did an excellent job with the series. The next night, we watched all of EverymanHYBRID. Both series are really good, and have different feels to them as well.
I had no idea what this was about so I watched the first 3 entries. I'm gonna watch the rest when I'm not home alone at night.
Bad news everyone. It'll be a while before the next entry.

No Time to Breathe
I couldn't be happier with how everything has been working out with Marble Hornets thus far. I've been reading everywhere that people are excited for the story to be picking up again. This is definitely what we hoped would happen from the very beginning of season two. We knew that a lot of people were going to start getting antsy with the claustrophobic nature of the hotel entries, but we kept the slow burn going in order to make it that much more satisfying once it starts moving forward again. From what I've been reading (and I've been looking through a lot), we've accomplished that pretty nicely. High five, team!
That being said, it's time to get back to work. With the posting of Entry #33, we have pretty much exhausted our current stash of raw footage. That means we have to get back out there and do some more actual shooting. But before doing that, we've got to do a little preproduction. Things like finalizing the "roadmap" for the next batch of entries and getting rehearsals done. It shouldn't take too long, but there's probably going to be a little extra time between now and the next entry. Don't worry though, it won't be anything compared to some of the gaps we had during season one. That's a promise!
BONUS:
Here's another behind the scenes-esque picture. I think explaining the context will ruin it, though:
Maybe we'll tell you about it one day. Maybe in the special features section of some magical disc read by lasers. Who can say.
No Marble Hornets for a while?
Le Sigh....
Depends on how long it takes to get the footage. They are college students after all.
Troy, the guy who plays Jay (and also, incidentally, directs and writes the series) does a good job of keeping us updated.
I say we have something in 2 weeks. Probably less.
Also, follow their twitter for more updates on what's going (in game) on. Oh, and TTA likes to hack that account sometimes and post strange images. That's actually how season 2 started off....
And guess who left a response.

And the Meek shall Inherit the Earth.
Entry 33 was sort of hilarious; I burst out laughing when that derpy, masked guy hobbled into the room.
You'd think if he could hit him hard enough to make him limp, it's worth knocking him unconscious and de-masking him.
You're also in a hotel. Grapple with him and then start screaming to alert the staff.
Guess I'm over-thinking it.
Don't forget that Masky has some sort of supernatural power (see Entry 19) and that Jessica somehow disappeared in the last 5-10 minutes (I'm guessing that's the amount of time between 32 and 33). I imagine Jay wasn't thinking straight when he suddenly showed up after she vanished.
And the Meek shall Inherit the Earth.
Or maybe they timed it well and/or there weren't that many people in the hotel.
I absolutely love this series. It manages to make me more afraid than some horror movies with far higher production values.
I've even had nightmares of Slendy. While I was playing the Silent Hill-games I had the same thing happen to me with the fear creeping into my everyday life. Seems like Marble Hornets will be a worthy successor of soiling my underwear.
I admit, when I'm outside taking out the trash, getting the mail, or empty the car of groceries/luggage, I look over my shoulder. I consistently look around hoping that he isn't watching me in the distance.
Sure, it's stupid. But you want to make sure.
EDIT: Oh, and Marble Hornets has a twitter page. Nothing extraordinary though. He responded to the Fragments video saying he feels uneasy and unsafe. How you'd expect him to feel.
