I'm interested in seeing what its looks like OUTSIDE of YouTube. Probably looks just as good the Ultimate Ninja Storm games.

And the music sounds very Guilty Gear/BlazBlue/Mega Man X-ish, so it can't be that bad....

Well, it looks like it could be fun for a few minutes (if you can play as Ikkaku) but if there's no co-op well...

Thats kinda the nature of these Hack n' Slash-y games though, and hey, they can be kind of fun. Be it Dynasty Warriors or Fist of the North Star.

Actually I don't but since I have no computer access during the Week it's the only way for me to stay in the loop with video game news or reviews latter of which is hard to take seriously with anyone nowadays.

X-Play's reviews are pretty awful, especially since this Abby Hebby became the big shot reviewer. She's the same girl who tore Metroid: Other M apart based solely on the fact Samus was attracted to a guy in it. Plenty of things to bash with that game, but nope, all "SAMUZ WUVS A GUY TIS GAME SUX".

But I still watch every episode. Why? Beyond it being nice to see gameplay footage on my TV as opposed to LQ on my computer, it's the simple fact of the matter of having watched them since they started in 2003 (when I was quite young). Needless to say, I've come to like Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb quite a lot. But yeah, their reviews are awful, they put out a good one once in a blue moon, and the comedic moments which are now quite rare, are as horrid as ever.

I guess it's like chewing your nails, a dirty habit you can't kick.

No prob, Gueta. I actually take pride in the fact that most of the games I make threads for turn out to be garbage. I see it as a service to the people of Arlong Park. If you see me make a thread about a game, do not buy that game. But I am interested in this, cause I consider myself a moderate Bleach fan, mainly the anime, which actually makes the series pretty decent. That current filler arc airing on Adult Swim right now is actually better than any of the series canon.

Really, I don't think one could ever win with X-Play. Either it was like it was back in the day, a comedy/skit heavy show dealing with video games and having some reviews thrown in, with people bitching "This isn't a video game show! This is crap!", or how it is today as a strict video game news/review show with a very rare appearance of a skit with people bitching "This is boring! It needs to focus less on being a video game show!" One thing I really liked about the old X-Play was the atmosphere. It was really relaxed, sitting on a couch in front of a table, or at a bar counter. Now, standing up next to a podium with a fancy CGI background.

Eitherway, for those who care about the game this thread was made about, a demo will be out on the Japanese PSN December 24th. Which I think would be... what, the 23rd for us?

Not wanting to be the devil's lawyer, but the two DS Bleach fighting games are quite decent. VERY decent if you consider the shitty source material they're working with.
