Can anyone help me find the name of this Spider-Man Comic? I remember it had a bunch of Asian Calligraphy on it as the cover and intro which basically described Spiderman, and the other guy who had a Dragon or Serpent as his symbol.

I'll rephrase what I remember about it.
This lady, walking down the street with a much older lady. Bad guys take her purse, they run but run into a broom this guy was holding. They pull out knives and he beats them with fish. One things leads to another and they end up in an alley. He's getting hit in the stomach and stuff, ends up beating them out of nowhere. Spider-man shows up, but he's like "oh you have things taken care of don't you"
Lady from the beginning is a villain.

New Krypton Special was good, but I didn't like Supes' mourning.
The end was a real shocker.

    N. Avengers 46-
    Spoiler:
Hood and his team interrogate a SHIELD Agent who is a Skrull about their plans. When they learn what they can from him (he dies during the interrogation), they burn their old HQ and split up.
Hood tries to learn more about the cloak and finds out that his powers actually come from DORMAMMU!

Finally got a hold of Spider-Man Reign, loved it! I wish the story would continue as I would love to read a whole series about Spider-man in his later age.

    Superman 681- WTF?!
    Spoiler:
DOOMSDAY?! HOW THE HECK DID THEY GET DOOMSDAY BACK?!

I dunno 'bout you guys but eventually all of the Kryptonians except Clark and Kara are gonna be depowered using that gold Kryptonite or whatever

    JLA #26-
    Spoiler:
    "BLACK POWER!"
Vixen manages to set things back to normal, but was Anansi talking about Final Crisis?

    Rage of the Red Lanterns-
    Spoiler:
Issue starts with Atrocious forming his Coprs and the rituals they must undergo.
Later on Sinistero is taken for execution on Korugar, his home planet and Hal and some Lanterns are ordered to escort him there.
The party is ambushed by members of the Sinestro Corps as they try to free Sinestro, but then BOTH teams are attacked by the Red Lanters who pretty much fuck up everyone killing some Lanterns from both sides!
The Red Lanterns manage to abduct Sinestro leaving those who did not die from their attack to die in space as their Rings are unable to process the Red Lanterns energy.
However they are saved by a Blue Lantern!

    Freaking awesome!

Also here's who I think Mutant Zero is-
    Spoiler:
    Wanda/Scarlet Witch

    MAHVEL, BABY!

    Nova #18; FUCK YEAH!
    Spoiler:
Quasar and Nova help Darkhawk take down more Skrulls, the Worldmind has indeed come back online and is using PEGASUS' systems to help out the team.
As he searches through the stuff that in PEGASUS' storage, he actives Death's Head!
While the threat of the Skrulls attack inside the building had been defeated, there still remains that Skrull attack ship outside.
Weak and exhausted and unable to continue fighting (plus Quasar used up a lot of energy and had to go back to the flask which was used to reboot Worldmind), just when all hope seems lost, the attack ship is destroyed.
...and to Richard and everyone's disbelief; they were aided by members of the Nova Corps!

Herc 122 was hilariously entertaining, but didn't like Namor's characterization in it :/

    SI X-men #3-
    Spoiler:
So Emma manages to defeat the Skrulls' psychic inhibitor/shield thingy, and the rest of the X-Men manage to cause more damage to the Skrulls invading San Fran.

Nightcrawler tells Beast about the sphere and using it, Beast manages to find a way to defeat the Skrulls; the Legacy Virus.

Didn't like the art much, but it was on overall OK issue.

    SI Thor #3-
    Spoiler:
Blake turns into Thor and starts laying the smackdown on the ugly Skrull bitch.
Along with the other Asgardians he manages to have her drop Bill's hammer.
Bill uses his Hammer's power and together with Thor deliver the final blow; Thor drops Asgard atop of him, ugly Skrull bitch and Bill!
...but that's just the half of it! Thinking their mighty lord had fallen in battle, Bill and Thor LIFT UP ASGARD!
The ugly Skrull bitch is dead and everything is back to normal.

Good issue, though really the Asgardians getting their @$$es handed to them by a fat ugly Skrull bitch? Ridiculous.

    X-Force #8, guess who's back
    Spoiler:
Issue starts with the team (now consisting of Elixer, Archangel, Logan & X-23) in Japan where they pinpointed Vanisher. Logan and X-23 are in a building with X-23 aiming a sniper at Vanisher should things not go as they planned.
X-23 kept telling Logan that she doesn't trust Warren, or rather Archangel, but Logan tells to not trouble herself with it.
Anyway Warren tries to talk to Vanisher, but when Warren sees that talking won't do; hello Archangel!
Logan and X-23 leave their position to help catch Vanisher, but Vanisher escapes and Logan is shot at by another Sniper!
X-23 finds the sniper to be Domino!

Domino joins the team as she too is after the Vanisher. She informs Logan and co. of 4 safehouses that Vanisher is using in Japan and the team splits up to try and catch him at each location.

After barely escaping Logan, Archangel and X-23, he comes across Domino and Elixer. Elixer pulls a Kenshiro on Vanisher (if only the Yost & Kyle knew about that famous catchphrase it would've been perfect) and that's when he flees again.

The team then waits for Vanisher to come to them. Vanisher goes to a hospital to find out what happened to him and teleports to where Logan and co. are. Elixer gave Vanisher a tumor in brain which only he can heal.
Vanisher tells them he doesn't have the Virus, but Logan tells him: "Wrong answer, bub"

Issue ends with Warpath about to fight some mythical bear at his brother's grave.
Oh and Rahne is still mentally unstable.
Overall kickass issue, the team is delivering.

    Marvel Apes #4-
    Spoiler:
OK, so Fiona si persuaded to finish building the portal so that Blood and the other heroes can go there and conquer it.
As Fiona is about to activate the machine, Cap and his outsiders attack.

They succeed in defeating Blood and his vampire cronies as Marty and Fiona return to their world taking with them Speedball!

Blood bit Speedball, the heroes decide that he should go with Marty to his world and find a cure.

During the fight, Blood, Namor and Torch die, but Bucky is caught by Spidey. In addition Ape X dies killing Blood and as a result of their fight, the Portal is destroyed.

Days later Speedball is cured of his Vampirism and is sent to Ironman to be a member of the Avengers.

    Marvel 1985 #6-
    Spoiler:
Galactus starts building the machine that drains energy from planets to feed him, and then Toby arrives with the Marvel Heroes. Looks like they cut out him meeting them and went straight to here.

Anyway, the heroes take down the bad guys, then Toby's dad figures out WTF is going; his old friend who is now hospitalized due to his mental condition is in fact the very first mutant in their world. He has psychic powers and brought the Marvel villains because he was pissed.

Anyway, they manage to stop the badguys with the help of Clyde and everything's back to normal; the heroes decide to take Clyde back with them to treat his psychic powers.
Mixed feelings about the ending, but overall a nice mini.

    Teen Titans #64
    Spoiler:

I still think that Issue 62 was in really bad taste, and even though this issue explains why Marvin and almost Wendy died, it doesn't explain why Marvin in particular had to die (I mean Lycus can kill any ol' random nobody to affect Cassie so why Marvin, almost Wendy, and not the rest of the Titans since the dog was in the tower already) 62 is still a mess IMO.

That being said, 63 was pretty good and I have to admit #64 was probably one of the best issues of Teen Titans I've read in a loooooooong time. There's plenty of action, plenty of character development that doesn't feel forced, and the story just moves along well. Not to mention Dagnino's art is great.

Glad to see that Cassie's uber-bitch attitude for the past 2 1/2 years is finally explained, and by the looks of things after this arc is over she'll start being likable again.

Robin is acting in character FINALLY, and Kid Devil and Blue Beetle are both really fun to read now. Even Bombshell wasn't all that bad.

I admit I like where this is going now that the full view seems to be clear. McKeever wants to break down the Titans and then build them up again, and he's FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY starting to build them up again. First Blue Beetle and Kid Devil (I refuse to call him Red Devil) became friends and are likable, and now Wondergirl is getting the same treatment on the road to being a good character again.

And Ravager is clearly going to realize she's not a killer, and she is a goodguy afterall no matter what Cassie, Clock King, or even herself says. And then she'll come back to the Titans, probably bringing Static and a few others along with her.

And Miss Martian is sure to come back once Terror Titans is over since she's probably infilitrating the Dark Side Club as someone else, (possibly Star Spangled Kid) in hopes of freeing everyone like she promised Fever she would.

My hope is that things continue in a positive direction, and that by the time the Teen Titans Annual comes out in March the Titans will finally have a solid lineup, likable protagonists, and good storylines.

Superman #681 and New Krypton Special

    Spoiler:

Holy shit this is an awesome story. The Superman mythos is one I don't know a ton about, but this storyline is easy to read, approachable, and I'm loving it!

Gorgeous artwork, and a very intriguing story. Can't wait to see where it goes. But WTF Doomsday again?

    JLA #26

    Spoiler:

Black Power dude was the best part about this issue. Surprisingly this issue was pretty darn good, Vixen is FINALLY back to normal and Amazo is finished as of last issue, which means the book can FINALLY after 2 years go in a new direction and have some new storylines.

It was pretty entertaining, Vixen was finally shown as a capable hero in JLA which is nice (and I like that she said herself she wasn't performing at her best because she was nervous around the big names) and the alternate realities were interesting.

McDuffie needs to work on his endings though, this isn't the first time that one of his issues has just ended rather abruptly with you going "that's the ending? really?"

Now that Meltzer's handiwork is all gone (Vixen is back to normal, Amazo done for good, Geoforce's story was handled in Last Will and Testament) the book can hopefully go in a new direction, and McDuffie can shine like I know he can (where's that JLU magic?)

    Rage of the Red Lanterns

    Spoiler:

    1. Didn't need to be a Final Crisis tie-in, just sayin'

    2. Amazing art

    3. Amazing story

    4. I know people are all amped up for Blackest Night, as am I, HOWEVER, I continued reading Green Lantern after Sinestro Corps. ended and it's been just as great ever since. It's as if the big event never really ended and is just moving into it's 2nd act, with the same addicting quality still present.

Read this, read all the story arcs between Sinestro Corps and Blackest Night because it's all soooooo good!

I want to read a Red Lantern ongoing series with that cat as the main character.

It could be sorta like Vigilante, but with a movie plot line ("He lost it all: family, friends, fortune, and his life. Now, with nothing to lose, he goes an all-out assault for the one thing he stands to gain: REVENGE").

Anyways, to catch up, I have started to read the current GL series now, as well.

Furthermore, the NEW Guardians of the Galaxy-

I heard that this was a publicity stunt and Bruce will still be Batman at the end of "Fight for the Cowl (or whatever it's called)".

Hmm that seems odd though, oh well, I'll just wait and see.

JSA #20 didn't serve much purpose, despite the whole-
    Spoiler:
Alan wanting to ask Gog to bring back his daughter. Dunno seeing as how the original Powergirl of Earth-2 came back, its possible that Jade could too

    Adam Blue Marvel was good-
    Spoiler:
Issue starts with the Avengers battling a villain, AntiMan, who is easily overpowering them (even Ares!). The battle abruptly ends when the villain disappears.
Cut back to 1962; The Blue Marvel is fighting the AntiMan, as their battle comes to conclusion, the Blue Marvel is revealed to be..a black american!
Cut to a secret meeting with the president at that period, as they discuss the background of Blue Marvel. They eventually conclude that Adam, the Blue Marvel's true identity, needs to stop being a hero what with the racisism people were having at the time.
Throughout the later half of the issue we get flashbacks of Adam's past in the military.
Overall a very good first issue, hope the remaining issues keep up with the quality. Art is very good too.

    New Krypton Special- The Guardian-
    Spoiler:
    Hmmm.. 7734= hELL...
Jim starts to tell Jimmy about his past; how he was cloned, how he saw his biological 'father' murdered for discovering his clones, how regained the memories that were locked away in him when he became the Guardian, and how he learned of the Government's plan to kill Supes.
Years ago when he regained his memory, Guardian went to a facility owned by the government to find that they were creating clones of the original Guardian to combat Superman. ...but before he found the clones, he met a creature trapped in a tube that was wearing what seemed to be a Legion's ring. The creature telepathically tells him that he will be alright and that Guardian can continue with what he came for.
Anyway upon seeing how deformed the clones were, he killed them all by burning down the facility. Well all, save the girl he is living with.
Issue ends with Jim and his daughter traveling to Metropolis and seeing the Kryptonians arrive in the city.

An OK tie-in issue, but I believe it is integral to what Luthor and Lane are up to.

Marvel Zombies 3 #2 is awesome
    Spoiler:
Little Sky drops Jocasta and Aaron at Central Park. From there they start searching for any surviving humans to get a DNA sample from for ARMOR. As they trek through NY, they are attacked by Angel, Vulture & Falcon. The two waste them and find a building that Jocasta detects has some humans still alive in.
Porblem is the building belongs to Kingpin!
They decide to sneak in at night, but before they infiltrate, Zombie Inhumans arrive on Earth to meet Kingpin. As Aaron and Jocasta find the humans, they discover that Jocasta detected were clones bred for the Zombies to eat!
Man that spread of the zombies eating the clones was fucking sweet!
Anyway, as they feel that their mission has failed, they meet up with Kingpin's wife, who explains to them what happened previously to this world and then agrees to give them a blood sample.
As they leave the building, Aaron tells Jocasta to go on ahead as he stays and help the clones.

This issue was fucking badass, though the art felt somewhat incomplete or such

    Secret Six #3-
    Spoiler:
The team finds out the location of the Card and go to retrive it from a mansion. They are trailed, by 3 other villains of which Cheetah is one of them.
They find the card in a safe, but before they can leave, Cheetah arrives and tries to bargain getting the Card. When they refuse the team battles her. Their fight is cut short, when Cheetah's 2 other cohorts...or OK just the lightning guy attacks the mansion to get the card.
"Cheetah's got it" is fucking hilarious XD
So anyway, the team manages to escape from the mansion with the card, and asks Tarantula what is written on it.
Tarantula tells them that the card was made by Neron, and the words on it read "Get out of Hell free."
That does not sound too good.

Ultimatum #1....bad dialog, Loeb style, and Ultimate HERBIE is sarcastic? So anyways, the world is getting fucked up with storms and such and Magneto seems to be behind it.

OK in Ironman #7; why the heck is Tinkerer a bad guy again? I know the FF: SI tie-in mini didn't serve much purpose, but the guy seemed to have washed his hands of the life of crime.
At any rate, were they trying to redeem Tony's character in this issue? I know some revieweres/Critics/whoever didn't like Ironman since CW, despite how good the later stories were, so was this just to show that Tony is back to the guy they knew him as before CW?

    Spiderman & X-Men #1
    Spoiler:
Skimmed through it, so here it is in a nutshell-
Kraven claims that Spidey is a mutant on TV and declares to hunt him down. One day, Peter goes to a bar where the X-Men (the original X-Men BTW!) are at as well. All is well until Kraven crashes in having picked up Spidey's scent.
Kraven starts freaking people out, so Scott and co. suit up to stop him. However, Kraven isn't alone; he brought along the Blob!
Peter suits up as well and helps take them both down. However, the insuing battle rages on to the streets where Kraven and Blob went on a ramapge trying to defeat the heroes.
This reaches the media and Kraven becomes a marked man. In an alleyway, Kraven is met and is given an offer by Mr. Sinister!
...who oddly looks like Jim Carry while wearing the Mask O_o

    Terror Titans #2-
    Spoiler:
Well this is one bloody book; Clock King kills 2 more of the main leaders of the DS Club in a rather grotesque manner.
The tournament starts as teen metahumans fight each other serverly injuring themselves (how the hell did Terra get into all this?)
Clock King later sends Dreadbolt and Presuader to go get another teen meta they've located who goes by the code name Red X. DB and Presuader split up and DB finds Red X and attacks him, thinking he knoced him out. Unfortunately for him, it's not really Red X they were sent after; it's DB's father; Bolt.

    Superman and Supergirl: Maelstorm #1-
    Spoiler:
I don't care how strong one's hearing is, how the fuck can you hear voices in space?
Ugh. So anyway, this woman from Apokolips, Maelstorm, wants to win over Darkseid by killing Supes, so she steals a Boom Tube, goes to Earth, but gets in a fight with Kara while Supes is away in space.
She totally beats the living hell out of Kara and destroys buildings and stuff.
Supes later comes in and sends her back to Apokolips via her Boom Tube.
We get some pages of Supes consolidating Kara (as if we haven't seen this countless times in her series so far) on what happened, and the issue ends with Maelstorm being punished for stealing the Tube by having to survive the Terrorium.

Not a very good first issue, but it can improve.

    Vixen #2-
    Spoiler:
Well talk Deus Ex Machinas. Vixen can't heal the wounds she got, assuming that Kwesi is magically imbued. As Kwesi is going to deliver the final blow, he disappears in a flash.
On of Kwesi's men Sia, helps Vixen leave the village to heal herself. Vixen arrives at an abandoned village where Jackals have followed her. She manages to use her totem to scare them off and goes to sleep on a tree.
The next day she decides to go back and finish things with Kwesi, however her wounds have yet to heal. She considers calling in the League, but decides not to, leaving her communicator to be found by a monkey that's chewing on it and accedintly informing the League of Vixen's current whereabouts.
As she's walking through some plains, she catches sight of a Lion that is out hunting. She tries to escape it, but faints due to her wounds. She wakes up later to be in the presence of the lion and a frair who seems to be the owner of the lion

    Terra #1
    Spoiler:

Amanda Conner's great artwork is the highlight of this pretty quick read. The new Terra is really likable I must admit, all she cares about is saving the day. The reporter puts it perfectly "she's no Booster Gold"

Overall a solid 1st issue. The big reveal at the end is sort of "meh" considering we already knew that. Hopefully this mini will resolve all the Terra connection nonsense and just let the character FINALLY move on past that.

I'm liking it so far, nothing spectacular but it was handled very well so yay.

    Vixen #2
    Spoiler:

I didn't realize Kwesi had magic powers, but it sets up Vixen's inability to heal using animal powers so all good.

I really love the artwork by Cafu, its gorgeous and really fits the tone of the book quite nicely.

I like that Vixen is, both here and in JLA, on a quest to prove her worth to herself (as everyone else is already convinced) Hopefully after this mini she'll be completely self confident and be a bit more like the take no prisoners Mari we got in JLU, because THAT is the Vixen I've been waiting to see ever since JLA relaunched.

Also, love the scene with Supes, Black Canary, and Red Arrow. Red Arrow's joke didn't feel corny or too forced, and I LOOOOOOOOVED seeing Black Canary put Superman in his place. Superman did the right thing, now they're gonna do the smart thing, GREAT. Love seeing Dinah treated with the dignity she deserves.

Actions Comics Special feat. The Guardian
    Spoiler:

I didn't read the Jimmy Olsen special yet so I was a tad bit lost initially but it wasn't too hard to get up to speed.

I enjoyed the book, it was a nice side-story to set the character in place for the rest of the New Krypton storyline (which is friggin' great so far)

Not entirely necessary, dunno if it really warranted the #3 Diamond, but since the story is ongoing I'm sure it'll feel more connected to the rest of the story as time goes on.

    Terror Titans #2
    Spoiler:

Great artwork, and Ravager is handled perfectly. The rest of the Terror Titans are getting more and more interesting, Disruptor and Dreadbolt in particular, I like that Disruptor seems to have some clear self esteem issues especially with Ravager coming in, and Dreadbolt's situation is definately interesting I must admit.

I'm kinda sad Red X was a ploy to get Dreadbolt to confront his dad (who was kicking so much ass over in Secret Six #3 this week BTW) because I liked the idea of bringing him into the DCU proper, but maybe we'll still get a real Red X down the line.

I'm getting really tired of Clock King and his "I already know everything bwahahahahahaha I'm gonna pwn everyone!" shtick, he's really boring to me. I just can't pull myself to like him, and I know he's a villain but he's not even a "I hate you so much I like you" case, he's just plain unlikable IMO.

And woot! Aquagirl beat that horrendous "The Face" character. I really hope we start seeing more of Lorena in the future

    Secret Six #3
    Spoiler:

Seriously if you read DC and you aren't reading this book, I dunno what to say to you. Hell EVERYONE should be reading this book, because it's got soooooo much good held within.

First off the artwork is astounding! Seriously Nicola Scott is bringing her A-game to this book, everyone looks great and she knows how to pose her characters while still making it seem realistic and as if you're looking at a snapshot of real people as opposed to looking at a bunch of people posing for the camera. And I can't say it enough how gorgeous her Catman is, and this issue we get even more Catman nudity, and on the very first page we get a nice look at his perfectly shaped rear end. :) and Doug Hazlewood's inking and Jason Wright's coloring is PERFECT. The scene of Catman in Africa has this hauntingly awesome looking panel of Catman in sillouette with his eyes and scars in color, and it just make you go "WOW" The whole book looks gorgeous, and in addition to naked Catman, awesome sillouette of Catman, and the art just looking damn good in every panel, there is a SUPER EPIC AWESOME splash page of Cheetah fighting Bolt and it was kick ass.

Speaking of which, Cheetah and Bolt both kick alot of ass this issue. Cheetah had a good week, finally getting a chance to shine and be treated like the serious villain she is. And I'm glad the team admitted it'd be better to run than try to fight her since she can take a punch from Wonder Woman. Simone also remembered that Babs is English, and wrote her dialogue to match. Not only did Cheetah kick major ass but Bolt did as well, it was awesome seeing him threaten Babs and Black Spider, and when he blew up the limo it was just a great moment.

Junior is friggin' creepy as hell, but I MUST know more about him.

New team member Jeanette is intruiging, we didn't get much of her but that one panel already has me convinced she's going to be really cool.

The team continues to be great together, Ragdoll's creepy yet still cute personality shines as always, Catman and Deadshot are both great, and the new dynamic between Scandal and Bane is really funny. The way he was speaking to her like a daughter is so disturbing and yet at the same time it meshes so well with the rest of the team's strangeness. Bane is fitting right in!

Yeah basically I can't say how much I'm enjoying this book and this team in general. Thank goodness DC finally came around and let this team have it's own ongoing, because minis and guest appearances were not sufficing!

Lastly, the reveal of the card at the end

    Spoiler:
I don't think ANYONE saw that coming, and it totally makes sense and is a really interesting idea. I wonder how the card will be used, and by who?

Get out of hell free card that's all kinds of cool!

    Final Crisis: RESIST
    Spoiler:

Pretty damn good I must say. To be honest I wish we had more of these Submit and Resist books, because I am really curious to see how all these characters are reacting to Final Crisis, and since only so many people can be in Final Crisis itself, it's nice to see the adventures of some others amidst the craziness.

Ryan Sook'sart is great, I really wanna know why he doesn't do interiors more often because he's really good! (same thing I'm wondering about Stephane Roux, another artist who has been doing so much great cover and inhouse ad work for DC but has yet to do interiors)

Cheetah getting with Snapper Carr is so disturbingly wrong and yet so right! Cheetah was handled well here as well, continuing to be a badass (though I wonder how she got into the Watchtower to begin with.....)

Thinker is hilarious, I want more of him. It's really sad to see Checkmate go, and it looks like Sasha Bordeux is dead now :(

Anywho overall a really good book, and the ending is really exciting, an interesting twist with the OMACs I didn't expect. Though come on Mr. Terrific, it took you that long to think about awakening them?

Pretty solid week for DC I must say.

    UHH...WHY???

The tie ins for FC take place DIRECTLY before the issue it was released before (except Rage because it doesn't really count).

Legion takes place before FC (so I heard, never really read it)
Rogues Revenge takes place before and after 1
Revelations takes place during (says in which issue)
Requiem takes place after 1 before 2
    Submit leads DIRECTLY into 4
    Resist leads DIRECTLY into 5

I don't know about Superman Beyond (never read it).
