I think I'm sort of irked by Bruce Wayne being Batman again, if I heard correct.

To be fair Bruce was still running around as Batman in Batman Inc. even while Dick was running around Gotham as Batman too.

I finally picked up The Goon. Right now it's just the extended version of his original run. It reminds me a lot of Hellboy, just without all the Nazis and shit.

Also finally managed to get issue 87 of The Walking Dead. All the comic shops near me but 1 didn't have it.

Carl having Amnesia...honestly when he was first shot it seemed impossible to even live with the kind of wound he had, but they made it happen. Wondering if he even remembers the zombie outbreak at all. This will definitely set his character back to being a normal kid instead of the asshole he turned into from becoming a man at that age.

Because the name of the comic for all of DC's history was "Detective Comics" and wasn't all about Batman when it debuted.


It'd be like calling Action Comics "Superman Action Comics".

What? Action Comics is a comic that has been around for most of DC's history, much like Detective Comics.

DC is releasing an "Action Comics #1" and a "Superman #1", both of which will revolve around Superman. But they're not titling the former "Superman Action Comics".

Also, while Action Comics is always centered around Superman, this isn't always the case. For example, last year when Superman is doing his 'grounded' year-long storyline, Action Comics shifted its focus on Lex Luthor instead, focusing on his quest to utilise the power of the Black Ring. It goes back to Superman later on, but at that time there's no Superman in the comic whatsoever (though to be fair, Lex Luthor is a major character in Superman's supporting cast).

I remember being in a comic store one day and this girl came in with a friends and she says, "Hey, look, this guy is Shazam, he looks like Flash and Superman!!"
But I didn't realize there's no Captain Marvel news. :(
