I think in Arabic it's written Gddafi so that first vowel wouldn't be known unless you know Arabic.

Taking over Tripoli might be pretty difficult... There'll be blood, and a fucking insane amount.
It would probably be good if the ancient Armed Forces Minister and tribal chiefs assemble the oppositionnists and lead them.

Oh dear.. guess I was proven wrong. I hope Mecca and Medina aren't affected.

Of course it was Al-Qaida! They're responsible for all the evil in the world and the hallucinogenic pills in the coffee bit...just priceless. Evil bastards.
I got the coffee bit of info from here.

"Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi on Thursday blamed the uprising in his country on al-Qaida followers who give young Libyans hallucinogenic pills in their coffee to get them to revolt."

Wow... Saudi Arabia being affected would be huge... I can only hope that no influential party blames the west for disturbances like they usually do... Or else the repercussions could very well echo to the whole Islamic world, including South Asia. This could, at worst, lead to another Khilafat movement...
Not that I would mind some kind of revolution here, but any such based on higher ups own agenda and coated as some kind of religious something would definitely be bad...

I don't remember him saying anything. You're probably mistaking him with someone else.
They said he went to Egypt to meet with his tribe there to get some reinforcement for Gaddafi. (or something like that)
