I think it's a rule that every African dictator must shop for clothes at Elton John's garage sale and no where else.

Seriously, look at that Mobutu picture a few pages back.

No news on Ras Lanuf ?

I'm worried for BK and I think that if the world will start ignoring the situation now, Gaddafi could benefit from it.

Nothing new on Ras Lanuf, the same has been happening the last 3 days, but news say that there is some oil shortage in Sirt and it's maybe why Gaddafi's forces have been trying to control Sidrah's oil port in Ras Lanuf.

Zawiya is still surrounded and Misurata is expecting new attacks.

Rumors on a ship coming from Syria with ammunitions and 100s of 4x4 cars heading to Tripoli.

Brega is having its share of clashes too. (an oil port is in there too)

Aljazeera cameraman Ali Hassan Al-Jaber has been killed in an ambush near Benghazi. He was hit by three shots, and was wounded through the heart. Ali then died in hospital.

This is old news but I heard rumors that Gaddafi would step down if he was guaranteed immunity from criminal prosecution and travel for him and his family to any country he wants.

Is this true or is this just an unfounded rumor? Its been a few days since this was reported on and from the looks of things it doesn't look like Gaddafi is stepping down from anything. Either a problem with negotiations or the rumors are just what people say they are...rumors.

    Here's an article on it.

He doesn't deserve that. It shouldn't even be an option at this point.

-Libyan state TV says that Gaddafi's forces have gained control over Brega.

-In Misurata, they were expecting an attack yesterday but according to a witness there, Gaddafi forces (Khamees brigade) had a split in their forces after some of them refused to fire at civilians, and that 32 of them, including a general, have joined the revolution.

Any responses from the rebels on the claim that they lost Brega ? Gaddafi's sources aren't exactly credible.

They said they retreated just outside the city and are planning to attack again, they also said the will try to get Ras Lanuf back.

Al Aqeelah (between Ras Lanuf and Brega) is also being bombarded from the sky and sea.

Man, the spokesman of the libyan defense ministry is just as funny as Gaddafi and his son.

The violence used by police against protesters in Bahrain is getting worse. There are videos on Youtube of police forces shooting what seem to be live bullets at protesters.

EDIT: The police in Yemen seems to be shooting live bullets too. There are reports of snipers shooting protesters.

Sources say that revolutionaries have detained 10s of Gaddafi's forces in Brega after they set them up and now there are some air raids on that place.

The same source said that they killed 25 and detained 20, and the rest of the gaddafi forces are now 20km west of the city.
