lol, i stumbled onto some insane armchair communist blog writing about the glorious struggle of Gaddafi against the imperialists.

He put forth the brilliant insightful question about the people of Benghazi cheering Western missiles blowing up tanks and planes that were literally murdering them as "What kind of revolutionary cheers imperialist attacks on their country?".

I'd send him an email response of his article intersected by the pictures Bar Kum took in the Benghazi hospital except I already know his response would be something about propaganda and Mao.

There are no convincing and rational arguments for people like this. As long as he lives in his own bubble and doesn't convince anyone of his beliefs, it's ok with me.

<...>a letter from the country's Prime Minister, Al-Baghdadi al-Mahmoudi, being sent to a number of foreign governments. It proposes an immediate ceasefire to be monitored by the United Nations and the African Union, unconditional talks with the opposition, amnesty for both sides in the conflict, and the drafting of a new constitution.

"We demand the immediate cessation of the use of force against civilians by (Libyan leader Muammar) Gaddafi's regime and support a political solution that reflects the will of the Libyan people.
We call on the Syrian leadership to stop using force and intimidation against the Syrian people and to engage in dialogue and fundamental reforms in response to the legitimate expression of the demand of the Syrian people.
We are convinced that the historical changes throughout the region make the solution of the Israeli-Palestine conflict through negotiations more important, not less.
We urge both parties to engage without delay in substantive talks with a view to concluding a framework agreement on all final status issues."

Dunning-Krueger Effect all the way. The more insightful they think they are, the dumber their opinions actually are.

MK: remember in the early days of the conflict when russians denied Gad's use of rocket missiles, mercenaries the whole genocide because their satellites did not show no trouble in Libya.
