It beats having to always go back to certain chapters or volumes just to find a specific quote. Plus, it looks cooler in this format.

If anyone tries to use Google with translations, don't post it here unless you just want to share some laughs.

Each page has several quotes with the corresponding chapter and context. It's split into two volumes, first one on sale on 3/9, the second on 4/15.

this seems like potentially a good idea, but the examples they're showing in these pages are pretty much useless. I mean, if you're taking Zoro's quote above, "A wound in the back is a swordsman's shame" and the best thing you have to write about it is: "Zoro, who has long studied the ways of the sword, faces off against Mihawk, strongest swordsman in the world and one of the Shichibukai, but loses. When he senses defeat, he turns and presents his front to Mihawk."

Then what is the point of buying the book? It seems like it's just "here's a list of memorable quotes and where they happened" and that's it. Nothing insightful at all.

This could have been a very cool idea if Oda had colored those images, or at least redrawn them with his new style, of course providing the old image too, or if other authors did that particular scene..
I.e. I remeber Masashi Kishimoto say his favorite character is Chopper so him redrawing the Chopper scene where he is all hurt with the Posion Mushroom he gave Hiruluk would be good :).
But is none of that, just a compilation of cool ONE PIECE quotes... Meh, gonna pass this time.
