Zoro - Dewott (It feels more samurai than Scyther and could probably hold an extra shell blade in its mouth)
Nami - Purrloin (It seems more mischievous than Skitty and more elegant than Meowth)
Usopp - Nuzleaf (Trickster with a pointy nose)
Sanji - Combusken (It's more Diable Jambe than Hitmonlee and a duck is basically a water chicken anyway)
Chopper - Deerling (It's a deer)
Robin - Kirlia (While some might associate the Hana Hana Fruit with the Grass type, I feel that it fits the Psychic type better. And Kirlia has bangs)
Franky - Machoke (The most likely Pokemon to do the Super pose in my mind)
Brooke - Dusclops...I guess? (More skeleton than Cubone...but also pretty damn slow...and doesn't have the Brook feel)

But I have to disagree with Sharpedo automatically being Arlong. Sharpedo's so......lame.
Daruma, the small officer cookie-cutter shark from the New Fishman Pirates, is a perfect fit for Carvanha and Sharpedo.
Sharpedo is huge(6 feet) but Daruma is still the best choice

I totally agree, Robin being a gardevoir has that elegance and mystery that she is known for. Ussop as a shiftry? Hell yes, loads of hair, pointed nose, even now him being rather plant themed works quite well. Sanji deffinetly works as a blaziken, again I agree with the bird theme as well as the kicking ((plus fire))



I think that Moriah could also work as a dusknoir, similar shape and theme...plus dusknoir's have the move "shadow sneak" ^^

Hancock is ttly Serperior. I agree on Jinbe for Wailord. Arlong will be forever and always a sharpedo, the look is just to similar xDDD. For the three admirals for example Articune for Aokiji, Zapdos for Borsalino and Moltres for Akainu =3 Fisher Tiger could be either Samurott or Walrein. VDD i would say hmm Jellicent or Krookodile

Appearance-wise, Brook fits Duskull the best (especially post-time skip)...

i had a tough time not putting duskskull with brook, but brook`s main way of fighting is the sword and violin, and krikitot fits both of those
