I saw a lot of potential and what the mangaka wanted to use in the series if it had gone on for much longer, which makes it quite a bit sadder almost.

Oh well. Magico, it was nice.

Simple, fast and overly sugary. Magico has ended the way it has run. I think it's for the better that it ended earlier rather than later. It is so much nicer to remember Magico as a short and sweet - to the point of giving the reader a diabetes - comic that has accomplished everything it has set out to do and never has taken itself for anything more that it wasn't - and not as an overblown abomination that barely resembles what it was in the beginning like many unnaturaly prolonged serializations.

I disagree. I feel that it had too short a run. It had a lot of potential to expand upon its world, give us fantastic new characters and settings, bring back old ones and give a fantastic, epic story that could have truly made this series into one of the very greats of Shonen Jump instead of that one pretty good manga.

But ah well, c'est la vie.

Yeah for sure; even in that last arc things were already getting a little repetitive. As it is I shall remember the series fondly. Especially the awesomeness of Shion vs. Joshua.

I enjoyed that last chapter. Didn't really make any sense that they all had to split up, but it gave me the right "last chapter" feels, so I won't complain.

I enjoyed the "couple tournament arc"; the fights were creative, there was some plot revelations concerning the main character that seemed to go somewhere (I think in the end it was pretty much for nothing, but. . .), and there was some promise for future arcs; it seemed like the series was finally showing sings of something good or even great at work.

Sadly, that was it.

but this is the sort of series, that if I ran Jump, I would just go "Hey. I'll give you two years. You won't get canceled. Just write what you want." and watch the manga take off. I guess I don't know anything about this author's style, so I'm blaming the rushed pacing on always struggling to include MORE and MORE in hopes to keeping afloat in the rankings. And then obviously the ending would've been a lot better had it come, say, 150 chapters later. ah, well.

If you let every single manga go for two years regardless of quality you end up with crap like Lock-On! and Swot stopping potentially interesting new series from having a chance.

Also the universe as a whole would cry galactic tears with every new, shittastic chapter.

Just like a good manga can turn sour, a bad manga can improve. I think anyone who gets into the level of JUMP should be given a set time frame, and THEN if it's still terrible, it gets canned.

Lith did say "this is the sort of series", not that he'd give every series a two year grace period... Or that's how I took what he said.

Anyway, I'm still sad that it's over... but I'm glad that it ended with the chapter it did, since I really enjoyed it.

Aw, I've just finished reading the last chapter. It was really sweet and made me feel like it was the last, it was really good.
I really enjoyed Magico, wished it could of done what it wanted to do, so much potential that didn't have the time to shine through.
It was really good.

Obs: I don't really like how everyone has to forget everything, it made a great finale, sure, but it's not a good idea on my eyes.
