So. about the chapter (or r we allowed to talk about pizzas now?) Its pretty decent, tho I'd kinda rate every chapter with Shikamaru in it decent if not good. But yeah, the last scene with Naruto leaving is kinda..forced. With him suddenly getting spider sense n all

Bee fails completely at the task he was given, possibly because he doesn't give a single shit, the guards guarding naruto are also being stupid, but that's what Konoha ninjas do the best. And then asuma gets taken out with a lot of fanfare despite the fact that he pretty much did not harm to anyone.

"Will Luffy and Ace survive?" in the middle of a flashback pretty much takes the championship right there.

Oh, and could some one with more free time try to hunt dow Naruto threads 1 and 5? I'm trying to tag all these things to make them easier to find and having some trouble finding those.

I have been thinking of looking at this series finaly, and I would need the help of fellow posters like with the Felch thread.

"Will Luffy and Ace survive?" in the middle of a flashback pretty much takes the championship right there.

Chapter was alright. The "fight" wasn't all too spectacular but at least decent, even though Asuma didnt really do anything but cheer for them.
The end was meh, everybody stopping to fight and all the exclamation marks were rather annoying. The Naruto scenes following that were... well, they were just there; didnt do anything to me.

I can't help but facepalm at the treatment Naruto's been given. Some of the very ninja Naruto helped save or is cool with are actively trying to keep him out of battle through lying to and hiding things from him(way to go Konoha). They're gonna need his help later, which makes it even more annoying.
