Bleach Discussion 0: Quinzis and the Hollowcaust

Welcome back Daz-y. Hope you enjoyed your trip. Time to get back to the ol' grind and dish out some well-deserved Bleach-bashing criticism.

Just because Bleach hasn't been doing it doesn't make it new or creative. If anything, it means Kubo's become more unoriginal since at least beyond character designs Bleach wasn't trying to lean on fanservice like so many other series do. Honestly, the only thing the least bit creative so far would probably be dirty boots, if only because its condition is somewhat unique. However, even that condition is pretty irrelevant since I can't see Kubo doing more with it then getting stronger as the fight goes on which is a horribly unoriginal idea. Instead of just having her just add mud beforehand and soak it in mud to get it as powerful as possible before the fight starts like any intelligent person would

I would, except I'm still not sure what that plan is. Hopefully we'll get our answers (FINALLY) come wednesday, but I don't want to overanalyse something that might be totally off the mark just yet.
But the one thing that comes to mind is why Ginjo couldn't just, you know, act? Pretend to be Ichigos friend? Lie to him? If he avoided brainwashing himself he could have just stabbed Ichigo the instant his fullbringer training was done and take his power or whatever, if that was his goal. Also removes the possibility of Xcution killing Notaizen2 and ruining everything.

Also, forget Shuu-chans constant attempts at Ichigos life, thats just fun and sports after all, Chad + Orihime had better be frowning slightly at the suddenly maniacially laughing man that just gutted Ichigo with a broadsword.

Sometimes I really wonder why there isn't any decent Bleach Abridged series on the internet when it would honestly be so easy. Bleach is perfect for abridging because it has so many horrible flaws and so much failed logic, yet takes itself so seriously and never points it out. I've just randomly been thinking about it. I've even thought of a few ideas for jokes that would work like some sort of Hitsugaya=Justin Beiber joke. And of course, Kubo himself would appear as a regular character and just be a complete troll that the characters constantly complain about

Not many people outside of these forums seem to notice and or care about the horribleness of Bleach, and when someone brings up some kind of points, they just respond by denying everything.

I'm kind of afraid of the results of an abridged series of Bleach.

I'm sure it'd get a lot of shit on the internet from idiots, but I feel like there are also many people on other parts of the internet who hate Bleach or recognize its stupidity who just don't talk about it or make fun of it as much as we do. Really the main reasons I wouldn't even try to do it myself is that I don't feel like devoting that much time and effort to doing it (as well as paying for good equipment for making it). Especially since it'd probably require me to look over the entirety of Bleach again and I don't feel like I could do it.

Heya guys, I'm finally back from some sweet weeks in Italy. RPGjay, your weekly rundowns were great, and all of you guys comments have been extremely flattering and humbling. I didn't know my weekly rants were so popular and I'll endevour to keep making them, but I far from feel like the top-tier critic here; I think of a lot of you as as, sometimes more intelligent and observant than myself.

Preach; Father Outerspec. And now that Minister The Daz is back, the Church of Applied Logic is fully able to combat the unwashed masses of fanboys weaboos and downright morons who claim Bleach to be a golden series that surpasses everything else from Shonen Jump. We of The Logic Church are some of the few who know enough quality comics (and fiction for that matter) to realize that Bleach is dreck.

So it is good to have one of our best and brightest Minister's back to continue to spread the faith.

Thanks, it's good to be back. But yeah, the sheer scope of things that could spiral off into nonsense (well, even bigger nonsense) that was created when NotGanju reverted to NotAizen has made my brain temporarely reject any attempts at analysis.



Do you guys realize that with this chapter, Ichigo has been utterly devoid of free will almost the entire series? With the Aizen Twist(tm), the Palm of My Hand twist and now this Ichigo has officially been led around by the nose by villains for 98,73% of Bleach. His sole moment of independence was the whooping 6 chapters at the tail end of the arrancar arc, where he managed to foil Aizens plans and end the arc through the power of Horrendous Writing (tm).
The other 465 chapters, he's been non-stop trolled.

I know this saying is getting old, but Ichigo seems to be trying for some award for Most Pathetic Protagonist Concievable By Man.
