I was already rofling by the time Shinba got to the gist of his speech, then the very last page had me ROFLING.

And I've read Oishi Shinbo (my volumes read Oishinbo, maybe it's the English version) and it's all about Yamaoka Shiro working as a journalist in charge of the Ultimate Menu. He always gets into sidequests trying to help people in food-related situations, usually against his dad, Kaibara Yuzan, a total prick. A good read for the info on food in Japan that can't be found in normal guidebooks!
