    Don't..... remind me.....

I can't say I like Lena. And I was fuckin ashamed when she won last year with her fuckin bad english :/ I think even I can pronounce better than her. I mean, come on.
    blergh.
When I heard she would start this year I was just like "... yeah. This will do good." I wouldn't wonder at all when every country goe slike "pfft, Germany has not enough good singers so they just go with the old one. LAAAAAAAAAAAME"

UK was Blue, right? I know these guys a little back from my teenage time

Other than that, I'm not really interested in this whole thing and I can't really take it seriously.
I mean it's good this exists, but the actual process and the actual singers who go there... is just.. meh.

I didn't like Lena last year at all, but at least she was still miles ahead of the Netherlands' embarrassing choice of song last year. Not too crazy of Lena's song this year either.
Haven't seen much of the other songs yet, though.

I'm hoping our guys do better this year... their song seems nice and not cheesy for once, even though we haven't gotten past the semi-finals for 6 years in a row. I'd love to see us advance with a normal song for once.

I'm going to be royally pissed if the winner is decided solely by the most well known band/artist. I'm still nagged by my suspicion that Lenas win was guaranteed before the 10' show even started, due to her fame and the songs hype

    Pretty much this.
Although I did like Lena's song, the actual perfomance was really not as good as it could have been.

I haven't really heard any of this year's songs yet but I am about to remedy that by watching the 2nd semifinals.

So far, this semifinal is using the former as flossing. Too bad the Swedish Nomura character couldn't break all the glass; maybe he isn't a high enough level to face the final boss yet

Rooting for Lena. Not such a good song choice this year but Blue are awful, and Jedward? Jesus Christ.

Scott Mills' UK coverage isn't THAT bad. It's that retarded BBC3 Woman who started singing 'Thats Amore' to the French Entry.

Armenia's was a fun laugh. I liked it.

Europe what is wrong with you? Do you really love autotune "popstars"?? >.<

Austria: nice voice! I´m glad she´s in the final
Belarus: I love Belarus!! not xDD laughed so much about the song
Belgium: they were great! instead of Jedward should this guys sing in the next round
Bulgaria: also good. It´s really sad that they don´t got enough votes
Denmark: I don´t really like soft rock but it was a catchy song
    Estonia: Autotune the 1st >.>
Ireland: Autotune the 2nd -.-" God I HATE this guys and want to punch them in their hyperactive face!
Moldova: the song is good but I totally hate the singers' voice, it´s fucking annoying
    Sweden: Autotune the 3rd

Rofl at Armenia and Turkey, bwahahaha xDDD

Quite surprised about some entries. I mean really? Sweden? Ireland? Romania? Some of them are surely a result from the jury voting and bad taste…Why would you prefer the Nomura-Gackt Clone over Bulgariaaaa?
And I’m quite irritated about the semi-final voting rules. Did they established them this year or was it always this way?

Happy that most of my favorites are in, but Bulgaria was robbed :’((
And Germany totally sucks at their camera work.

I should be happy that Sweden is in the finals, but i'm not... really.

I don't actually like any country this year, Finland is the only one that's ok.

Speaking of Lena, didn't she have this English phrase she always said? What was that again? I just remember finding it totally annoying.

    Poor, poor New England~

I never heard Cyprus' song before. So I just tried listening to it and shut it the first 30 seconds. It sucks.

We grow up as Americans being indoctrinated into a depressive state of mind where we must face the fact that Europe is more cultured and sophisticated than us. And that we're blunt tacky boors.

And then one day, in some form or another. We learn how this is all a lie. Sometimes in the form of an overseas techno hit sung in pidgin english by gay Italians. Sometimes in the form of realizing Robbie Williams is considered cool over there. Sometimes in the form of our first time actually watching a French art film and realizing it's basically softcore porn with tedious arguments and bad comedy.

    Or it's this.

    It comes to this.
We do trash better, you do art better (except for the French, they produce pretentious meaningless garbage and really awful romance (Italian and Swedish art films rule like hell though)).

But when done wrong which is more horrifying? Truly it's the trash.
Point of comparison. Van Halen and Def Leppard are virtually the same band.
Except one if American and one is British.
Van Halen is a ton of over the top fun and hard rock theater that's lowbrow and knows it, and loves it.
    Def Leppard is crap.

(the Japanese do trash best of all btw)

Maybe I should edit that and say "Western Europe", because the only thing Americans are raised to think about Eastern Europe are "communism", "gypsys" and "no money". Except for Greece maybe.
