Now to reflect on this. The first 12 matches, I'm pretty content with, although I'd have really liked seeing Smokey being part of next round, too. The rest: In my eyes, Jinbe should have advanced, and so should have Hattori. Love that pigeon, and, come on, who doesn't?

Then the amazing tie between Buggy and Otohime. Excellent match, well done again to all campaigners on both sides - it was an honour indeed.

Shame that Franky won against Shanks, somehow. Well, Strawhats obviously fare well, but still... Same thing with Kuma just now. Glad Aokiji advanced, so we finally got an Admiral to Round 2, as I understand, breaking the tradition. I'm annoyed at Ivankov winning against Norland, but that's how it goes. All in all, pretty good and intense first round. Thanks everyone.
