Well, it's not like this is some new phenomenon. Shanks, Mihawk, Whitebeard, Calgara, Jinbei and I'm sure many others I can't remember right now have been added as playable characters before we got any kind of full move set from them. And it's quite possible Oda would rather some moves be held until he can properly reveal them. I'm just hoping that they were at least able to get some things from Oda about the Straw Hats since by the time the game comes out we would have seen much of the Fishman Island fights.

Shanks, Blackbeard, Drake, Bonney and Urouge are up too. Thankfully Urouge and Bonney are confirmed as only supports. Looks like there's a space next to Shanks. I'm assuming it'll be Benn Beckman support. As long as he's not playable that's fine.

Also notice that there was 4 total slots with 2 blank in the group with Roger and Ray. Shanks was most likely originally going to go there but was moved to have his own crew section. Which makes sense because as is there's nowhere near enough slots for over 100 characters.

The main page was also updated with the artwork that's on the boxart.

The only Supernovae not shown are Killer and Capone. Killer isn't even in the background of the Shabondy stage ! What a loser ! :)

Let's see... There's Kid, Law, Urouge, Bonney, Drake, Bepo (assuming he's listed there; he's been confirmed as a support, and he's part of Law's crew), Hawkins, and Apoo, so I don't think either Capone or Killer would be included.

Also, by my count, there's 101 characters on the site (including the blank spots), which means there's 30 more characters than in the first game (post-time-skip Straw Hats, Drake, Hawkins, Bepo, Dadan, the Red-Haired Pirate support character, and Apoo are the only ones I can think of so far, which means there's 15 brand-new characters that haven't been revealed yet).

Edit: Could it be Lucci?? I can kinda see him jumping in the Wapol's pic.

It seems that you can summon 3 supports at once and yes i see vivi and lucci in that pic (in fact vivi's in 2 of them) Wapol however could easily still be a support character as he does have that idle pose in the first game. Lucci and vivi both have player marks (lucci is 4th and vivi 3rd) and i do understand both of them being in it. It's her outfit that confuses me a bit cause it looks similar but it's not the green one which she wears for most of the arc. It's more like her princess one but i can't think of any other character with them colours except TS-Franky but it looks to thin to be him. We need a better scan really

You can't see Wapol's life because in that screenshot he is the character that the player is using.

And the 3 supports at the same time feature is called "Gigant Assist" but since I can't read well from the picture I can't precisely tell how it works.

EDIT: If you look carefully you can see a red "1P" under Wapol.

Ah. Sorry i don't know Japanese well so i couldn't read that. Wapol seems a bit random for me. More so than vivi cause at least she was once a member of the straw hats (kinda) and Oda still likes to draw her on the covers along with the straw hats. I dunno i imagined krieg or Kuro would have got in over Wapol but i suppose if you had to choose one he's more recent and can serve as a rival to chopper.

I still wanna see some new supports. Wasn't there supposed to be a scan in last weeks JUMP about that?

I don't see what else she could or would have? I expect Carue to be part of her moveset and maybe that dance she does as Ms. Wednesday but the rest are probably all centred around it

Wapol is standing on Robson, so I guess he is playable. Him and Vivi are so random, but I guess that with the upcoming Reverie storyline, we will see them again.

If we consider Smoker, Marco and DoFla as playable, there is not a lot playable characters spots remaining. One or two at best.

Edit: Can I spot Enel on the bottom right of the Wapol picture ??
