I was thinking of telling Kubo via twitter his rankings suck because he's completely shiting over two of the main characters.

There was crying in the chapter, so technically yes it had something to do with the chapter.

Though that's the closest any title called "WHY ME SAD" can ever make sense.

Do you think Kubo is going to match up those fullbringers against the captains? If the captains actually come against a bit of trouble and have to pull out new hax that they developed in 2 years (what is that, like 0.01% of their full lifetimes) I will weep, because that means that becoming captain class is as easy as preying on Ichigo for hax munching. On the other hand, if the fullbringers fall in seconds like they by all rights should, then there is zero tension whatsoever, much like the Yammy fight. Either way Kubo's written himself into a corner of unbelievable bullshit. I wonder how the arc would have gone were he not rushing everything for ratings. Clearly from the languid pacing of the arc at the beginning he meant for suspense to be building, but then everything collapsed into an incoherent mess of motivationless stupidity when the ratings dipped down.

And ANOTHER thing: when did Orihime's character become solely about loving Ichigo? Remember when she had other traits, like her unwavering compassion? And now she's rushing into battle? What about her amusing flights of fancy, like wanting to become a robot when she grew up, I miss that. It seems those traits have been rounded off into a neat little ball of general cuteness and ICHIGO WUV.

I guess you could say her rushing into battle is character development, but it's just so sudden it seems more like character derailment.

This week naruto episode was about an island that research and create summoning animals,only funny bit was Guy teaching birds to dance/fly i didnt understand,the rest was pointless.
Also the animation is bad in this episode,next week it seems is going to stay that way.

Next week is Rock lee filler,it seems the anime staff gotta out of ideas for filler during journey,well if they are going to focus on others i guess is not bad thing.
