When I arrived here the dude felt like this ultra fresh dude, who's presence alone was just nice to have around. As an admin he felt like an older brother who'd tease you around a bit, maybe smack you upside the head when you deserved it, but also sit down next to you to play a game and give you a friendly nudge when you do well.

I really respect and like this kind of Dude! And any different colour of his name won't change this.
Don't go thanking us, we gotta thank you! Whatever you do, stay as sharp as you are, Dude!

I remember back when I was just a mere lurker in late 2007, stumbling upon apforums. I recall enjoying the the diverse discussions and points of view. The Dude and other mods always made great and enjoyable post, and that made me eventually want to join the site. Dude, we don't know each other really well, but I've have always had a great amount of respect for you. Like Gold Roger creating the great pirate age, you and others helped create and nurture this amazing forum to greatness. No one can ever take that away from you. Thank you for all you've done and good luck. I hope this isn't goodbye and that we'll still you around the forums.
