Huh. Either way, continuing your dreams is really cool. I only pulled it off three or four times, and I wasn't trying (succeeding after deliberately trying makes it even more awesome).

First off, ate old fish fingers that tasted like an old rug. Applied a ton of mayo, but it didn't help and now I just know I'm gonna feel sick.

So I shamelessly bought two non-canon Sherlock books this morning. The sad thing is, I can't even read them right now. :I Why would I read two non-canon books before the actual canon?? But when I came dangerously close to completely losing myself in them, I just couldn't resist. I got a 20% discount red rose. Damn! I KNEW the color mattered. I should have picked white. Since the ads said anywhere from 20-80% discount, white roses were probably the better pick. I should have done some observing first. I got a bit of a status update on the novels I already ordered. Israel is still on strike sooo.... yeah. Not exactly gonna be getting it anytime soon. I saw two Gordon Ramsay cookbooks which part of me wanted just for the pictures.

I'm getting a little antsy because I want to ask.... a certain someone to come see a movie with me. I don't know if he's willing to wake up early for it, is the thing. I can't for the life of me understand why NOT play during the afternoon? Why morning? Seating isn't even guaranteed. It's not that I think he'll be busy, it's just that getting there will be a pain in the butt and I still don't have a solid plan for getting there on time, and early enough.

i honestly couldn't be bothered to look up the correct word and i took a guess, so you're probably right about the word meaning something else lol

yep, sure is. i was really doubtful about the theory at first, but that changed when i tried it out for myself.

i like the method used to set the tone of your dream, too.
lying straight on your back, still and relaxed. when you feel the inevitable urge to turn over, resist. that's the brain's way of checking if you're awake.
if you ignore the urge and keep yourself composed and calm, the brain will back off and be tricked into thinking you are asleep.
at this point, you should get to work picturing and imagining vivid scenes & emotions relevant to the kind of dream you want to have.
you'll then (hopefully) have the desired kind of dream when you drift off.

at least, that's how it worked out for me.
also, when i woke up in the middle of the night, before going to sleep i made sure i was still lying on my back and relaxing,
which made it easier for me to re-access my dream.

my brother's blackberry phone was stolen from his bag in the school changing rooms this morning while he was having PE.
now we have a policeman coming round on sunday to take some statements, how exciting. [/sarcasm]
it's really unfortunate timing too because it's friday today, and it's half term break next week.
plenty of time for the the thief to do whatever they want with it.

but on a better note, i had bacon cobs for dinner.
awesome, i haven't done this for years. also, bacon + a drizzle of honey = epic.

Well it was ... not bad, I guess, but it definitely wasn't that good either.
Then again, I don't want a miracle to happen. Thanks to my other exams I don't need to be outstandingly good in this one; I just want barely enough points to get that scholarship. 7 points or something should do (I can't know for sure since I would have to know what the average score is going to be, so I'm basing my guess on the results of the last 10 semesters).

Alright then, until I know for sure: No sweets for me anymore. I should get the result in 8-10 weeks.

While I'm usually not superstitious, this is one huge exception.
Making "deals" with whatever force is accepting them has gotten me through the last 5 years of my life. Those deals never, ever failed me. Not even once. Hell, it even made it rain out of fucking nowhere just so I wouldn't have to attend a sports meeting.
As long as I hold up my end of the bargain (I always pay upfront) and as long as the price I pay is of equal value of the thing I want to get, it will work out as long as there is any chance of it working out at all.
I don't believe in a lot of "spiritual" things (I'm an atheist, so yeah), but I strongly believe in this.

Also, I do not like cupcakes. But that's besides the point.

Aww I bet you aren´t even that socially awkward. When you´re pushed into an outsider role in your social life, you just start to act that role, behave that way etc. I mean, you`re pretty well-liked around here and this is also a form of social interaction. And you were the one who wanted to party with his friends and they were too lazy to do that! I still can`t get over that.

.....I always thought "fooling around" means something different, too
