I slipped the fourth note under my boss's door today telling her I need to talk to her about my tutition. I think a phone call is in order now. I'm so nervous, I really need this money and really want to get back into school already.

Well I went to work and got told to fuck off. At least I got payed for the one day I was there, and I am aching so much I can barely sit down.

Speaking of work I have to do that today. But I made 597$ paycheck last week so I think this is worth it.

Alright, real shit though... I had a really hard time sleeping last night because of that fucking spider.

I'm really nervous right now, which is why I'm still up even though I have to be up in 6 hours.

Today I will be making a pitch in an attempt to sell a script. That is, after a half day (7 hours) of shooting.

For those who don't know, I'm a film student, and I was lucky enough to be able to land an internship working on the set of an indie film as 2nd AD and a Grip. My main goal in life is to be a successful writer/director.

You know, something easy and manageable.

Well, I'm closer to fulfilling the first half of that combo as I have sold one script, and now have the possibility of selling a second.
Sadly the first script I sold is not going to be made into a movie, as it was a zombie flick inspired by a Planet Earth documentary I saw that featured a fungus that takes over insects brains.

Sound familiar? It should, because a month after I sold the script "The Last of Us" was announced. Due to the similarity my script was instantly pulled, as the the things, while completely different, where similar in their basic premise. Twas a bummer. And a huge shock. I was so sure that I had finally had an original idea :/
The studio who bought it (legally not allowed to name names but it's not a "major" one) told me that if the game is a success, they might look at turning it into a treatment for an adaptation. So there's that.

Anyway, almost as a consolation they decided to let me pitch them another script. And that's finally happening today. At the time I didn't have anything ready that I was confident I could sell, but last week I finished up the 3rd draft of a year long labor of love, and I feel pretty confident in it.

So we'll see how it goes.

But yeah. Incredibly nervous.

Wow, I understand you so much better now. Don't mean that as an insult or anything, it just never really clicked that you were into screen/television writing. That's awesome! I'm not going into film myself, but general writing, though I would love to chat with you about the writing process someday. :)

I'm actually a little afraid of sleeping today :/ Partially because of my dream and partially because I managed to trap myself into my mind somehow.
Okay, that sounded weird.
But believe me, it's as close as I can get to describe that... feeling.
I wanted to wake up so badly, but I couldn't move. I tried to shout or something, but it was probably only in my imagination. I struggled and after a while, I could stand up, but of course just in my dream. I knew I wanted to wake up and I was wondering if it's okay to jump out of the window. I couldn't decide, because hell, if that was real life, I'd be dead by now... So I ran and then began my short but yet too long dream sequence and I could finally wake up feeling sleepy and exhausted.

I finally saw the 6th Harry Potter movie. Now it's a little fuzzy for me because it's literally been a good couple of years or more since I've read the books.... but even so.... in all honesty...

Okay guys, it's time I leave for my summer house where I won't have any other internet access than a shoddy old laptop and the crappy wireless USB modem that sometimes works and, well, most of the time doesn't. I'll be gone for about three weeks, and I want to see this place like I left it when I come back. So no revolutions, no petty userbase tearing squabbles, no hetalia, and no affairs that end in tears, all right?

Fortunately I managed to forget most of it. I only remember ONE thing which literally made me yell obscenities at the screen (my sister dragged me into the cinema): Dumbledore apparating OUT OF HOGWARTS. Harry even asks him about that and he is like "Because I can."

god. They completely changed the ending!! Gee, I wonder why you guys ran out of room!! It couldn't be because you wasted the entire first half the movie on an obnoxious girl stalking Ron could it?? And can someone tell me because I think I'm going crazy, but I don't remember death eaters burning down the Burrow.

I KNOW!! What? The first time I yelled out loud though was when Harry uses that darkness powder and I was like "THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS! IT'S NOT SMOKE!!" The scene leading up to the sectumsempra thing was also dumb. wow harry way to be subtle with your accusations there. Yeah I'm sure Snape would let Harry walk off like that. Just... arghhhhh.

Pretty great day. I had a rather chill day at work and afterwards I went to see The Avengers. I just love that feeling when you're completely fired up after being enormously entertained by a movie~
