Wow the New World arc promises to be very exciting. I honestly can't wait. "We Go!" was amazing, the lyrics fit and I was just blown away. They eyecatchers I guess I can live with. The preview music I have a problem with though, it's not as upbeat as it should be; it's pretty tranquil.

Spoiler:

I definitely won't fit when the episode title is something like "Next Time on One Piece: Hody Jones assassinates the queen" or something along those lines.

Well, I think if it were something close to what the old preview music was like I'd be ok with it. But this just doesn't sit well with me.

I just realized that a time-skip may have been hinted at all the way back in 2007. Back at Anime Expo that year when they were running the "One Piece" panel one of the anime directors said something along the lines of, "Maybe you'll see Zoro's hair get longer, or Sanji's other eye." I'll try to find the video of it.

I think when Luffy masters his haki, a revenge fight off between him and Akainu looks inevitable.

We may see Luffy for the first time lose his morals and his passionate revenge for for Ace see him at his most reckless.

He may actually go to kill Akainu unless one of the SHC stops him.

I don't see foresee Luffy being the revengeful type, he certainly hasn't shown signs of it yet. I could see him fighting Akainu eventually but not be full of revenge.
