Game looks nice in HD. Although I laughed at Sanji for some reason. Robin looks really really pale too.
Also looks like it was some gameplay stuff in there too.
I finally got DW Gundam 3 last week and can see what some people have been saying in relation to it and this. Would love to see as many missions for this as there is that. Like a random story mode and then just missions based on the History of OP.

for anyone sitting on the fence on whether or not to buy a Dynasty Warriors game, here's a counter argument to the general consensis.
Well I guess Citizen Kane was pretty boring as well.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night I can feel my leg. And my arm. Even my fingers.
The body I've lost. The comrades I've lost. It won't stop hurting. It's like they're all still there. You feel it too, don't you?
Jim Sterling is revels too much in his trollishness for me to take anything he says seriously.
Tks, I like the argument that people don't even play the games nowadays and just give it bad grades when reviewing them, a good example of that is again, the best launch titles from 3DS was completelly shitted on by gaming sites, they didn't play the game at all, they prefer to say same old same old, instead of playing the game.
The game had a bigger RPG part, had a friendship system, you were your own here could changes clothers etc, you do missions and get character by completing missions or maxing out friendship instead of just beating them or finishing the other guys storylines.
Plus the game doesn't work like the others, you don't have a storyline for each character but you actually live every "battle" with your hero and 3 other generals from that particular fight(you can change characters between 4 guys during the level).
Again people are free not to like it but why come to the thread and say it every time something new comes out? we know you guys don't give a crap about it lol...
I like this game for the reasons the dude says in the video actually, I like to turn my PS2/Wii/3DS wtv on and pic a character and slash guys left and right for fun, again I'm not looking to be challenged when playing this game, there are plenty of games where I can do that if I want, plus I enjoy the story, even though I've seen it a shitload of times with all the games I played and some historical series that I have watched on TV and what I read on the web.
I don't understand why people get bored with it but I respect it.
To me I'm pumped and I'm actually getting a PS3 for this if its comes out in Europe or the US and we haven't seen nothing from the game yet(almost nothing).

To be fair the recent games have been mixing things up a little with mission based quests. (even if they do consist of killing many things) or capturing areas. I suppose its different for everyone.

That was a funny video. Especially the part where he made the Contra comparison. What a hack.
Edit:Hahahah. Mario too. Yeah, I know it was joke but geez. I'd probably have more fun and "releasing inner violent tendencies" burning ants outside with a lens. And heck. There's a ton of other games that has the spirit of an old school beat-em-up but still make it fun and interesting. Sorry. But pouring thousands of AIs on a wide battlefield(or map) while you control a heavily one-sided and technically overdeveloped player just strikes me as a game engine released in beta testing. I'm sure DW does a decent job at it, but I can't help but be bored out of my mind while playing such games. If you don't understand that, then that's yourfatally wounded puppy to tend afterproblem.

You mentioned the MAIN problem with Dynasty warrior games, the balance in gameplay is horrid in terms of beat'em standards.
You go from dirt easy grunt fights into, "OMG did I just almost die from one combo" frustrating bosses. Not to mention the "baby sitting" you have to do because your allies can't seem to take out the said grunts that attack maybe once every 30 seconds.
And some stages go on FAR TOO LONG. I can't express that problem enough, why the game makers thought people would have fun clearing one side of the map only to have to run to the other side because of a "surprise ambush" is beyond me.
Or chasing after an idiot ally who wants to fight that major boss one -on -one that you surprisingly can't get to follow you when you need help during your fight.
DW makes me foam at the mouth if I'm not playing with friends, it's just shoddy game decisions throughout.
Anyone who thinks a musou game is about the enemies is approaching it with the wrong mindset. its about playing the uber badass and getting into a groove with a move set that matches your playing style and is just fun to play. Otherwise, whats the point of having a diverse character roster?
The missions and allies and base claiming and fodder troops and general battles are all secondary.
No they aren't, they're pretty much shoved in down your throat.
"Having fun beating up those bad guys? Too bad, you gotta run over here and help your retarded friend who actually attacks less than the grunts do."
or
"Having fun fighting this boss? Oops! Looks like I left that super armor and insane damage switch off.. let me fix that for you."
Don't get me wrong, DW is fun, but it's definitely has some problems in the game design department. It also killed my father.
Well yeah... if you didn't have to protect your allies or do little sub missions you would just run straight to the boss every time and every stage would be over in 30 seconds.
That was a regular feature of the old DW games before they started locking the lead general behind conditions for most stages. Hell, there was a level in Samurai Warriors that had four weapon drops where all you had to do was get to the end of the stage... and then it didn't matter if you fought the boss or not, your allies would eventually do it in cinema and so it was the perfect stage for farming hard level weapons with a low level character.
And it'd be boring if the bosses couldn't hurt you back. What the point of being a warrior god if all you face are peons? The peons are just there to fall by the dozens to charge your super bar so you can fight the bosses.

I understand that, but those "protect your allies" moments don't feel fun, it just makes me roll my eyes. I have no problem with side missions,
It's not so much that the bosses can hurt you, it's more like, you go from an exciting one on one fight to running away until the boss is done attacking. Rinse and repeat.
It's much more fun when you and the boss are on equal standing. (The first half of the fight usually)
