As soon as I saw the words "One Piece" and "Musou" I had to look up what the hell musou meant.

And immediately sighed.

It vairies. For first installments, Dynasty Warriors 2 (first game was a fighting game) had 28, Samurai Warriors had 16, Gundam had 18, Fist of the North Star had 8 with 2 DLC.

DW7 had about 45 or so. But a lot of them are more or less the same char with different skins.

Gonna be interesting to see how they do Usopp, Nami, Robin, Chopper and Franky. I don't think they ever do long ranged attackers in Musou games.

They tried it with Heavy Arms in the last Gundam Warriors game. Started with some melee attacks in his combo then went to ranged.

being similar to musou games its one of the best choices for a one piece game.
one piece can work has a fighting game but they can do that within the game.

There's also the DLC Cherudim Gundam that uses short range pistol shots for it's basic combo and only has one physical attack at all.

Musou, though? Damn it. Oh well. It's PS3 exclusive anyway, so I won't have it.

Funny, because those generic Musou rehashes get a lot of people's money that are just like you.

So this will basically be Unlimited Adventure Single-Player Mode in HD..

Id assume the one piece musou would have cell shading as well, just hope it has better level design than DWG3 did.

I don't play many Dynasty Warriors games, but in the Fist of the North Star game, both Jagi and Mamiya used quite a few ranged attacks in their basic combos. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMEd3hsS9_Y)

Anyways, I wish this was on Xbox 360 as well, but I'm still looking forward to seeing this in action regardless.

DW7 was actually PS3 only in Japan, but for the western releases they ported it to 360. If this gets released outside of Japan, they might do the same.

People keep going on about it being a mosou game and saying that it's a good or bad idea but what if it isn't. What if it's something completely random?
