You heard right, actually. There is going to be a redoing of We Are, but not as an opening. It'll play on the episode before We Go, most likely at the end.

The more I listen to that Gigant Battle song, the more I think it's the instrumental version of the new opening. Maybe it's ridiculous, but listen to the original We are!

The sound effect we have in the Gigant Battle video in the 0:18, reminds me of the original, I don't know why.

Yupp that sound effect felt soooo familiar to me too!
Also at 0:40 of the new vid I feel like I can sing "You wanna be my friend" along to the melody. There definitely are some similarities.
I have to say from what I heard from it, it sounds like the elder cool brother of we are who took some electric guitar lessons. I sure hope it's the real deal!

Greg has confirmed that the trailer for Gigant Battle 2 does indeed use the instrumental of We Go! Nice call for those who called it.

WE GO! REVEALED! Although not officially confirmed, the song heard with the Gigant Battle 2 trailer is indeed the instrumental version of We Go! It has been used in two trailers for the game thus far and Kitadani himself announced onstage at the Tokyo Game Show that We Go! is indeed the main theme of the game.

Not gonna say I called it on this because someone brought it up in another thread weeks before me, and whoever they are they should get the "I called it" credit, but yeah, this is great. That music sounded way too "grand" to be just some random trailer music for a DS game.

Not only is the song's instrumental itself really impressive but the game looks phenomenal as well. I'm awaiting the "We Go!" single to appear soon for pre-order so I can do just that! This game looks super fun too! I liked how they showed Franky's hair popping out (I guess because it was pressed up against Kidd's face?)!

That preview of what the Straw Hats will look like in animation is pretty sweet. Is it just me or is Luffy's hair a little longer than it usually is?

I love the little detail of Franky pushing his nose whilst head-to-head with Kid.
