I haven't watched this series yet, but will start it soon. I'm happy it made it to germany, but I'm still waiting for Community :< (Community is only running on german pay tv, which I of course don't have)

Sydney reminds me of Christopher Walken.

Speaking of which, him being the Queen's double agent and tricking Emma the whole time was so predictable, which I don't like. Feels like the ep where Gold was manipulating Emma about the fire. I hope Once stays clear of that 'zoom out, on the bigger picture' thing for a while.

I wonder if, and when the Mayor will really be disgraced.

I have to say, letting it sink in, Episode 11 really has been the worst episode yet. I can forgive it if there's some greater scheme involved, but Emma falling for Mayor/Sidney's plan, the stupid shady playground, and the inconsistent backstory was all so disjointed and out of character for the most part. It's the first time I've actually cringed watching it.

The writer is AWB. ABANDON SHIP!

Very good episode, I honestly liked it a bit more than Skin Deep. My only complaint is that David/Charming is such a tool, even though we're clearly supposed to like him, I hadn't really noticed it until now, but he always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The lake scene didn't help either. (Plot knife anyone?)

Now this is what I might call the best episode yet.

    Spoiler:
The relationship between Grumpy Dreamy and Nova and between Leroy and Astrid is so much more interesting than whatever it is that Mary Margaret and David have going on. Although I also really enjoyed MM with Leroy (apart from the beginning where she was a little hypocritical but he called her out on that.). What I didn't like was the sidestory with Emma because it was really quite boring and just distracting me from more Amy Acker (<3). Also, I'm not sure what to think of the fact that Dreamy really only loves Nova because of the fairy dust. I'd like to think that the dust gave him the potential to love, okay? And lastly, no Henry in the whole episode? Yes please! :P

    PS: "I'm Nova." " I'm Dreamy."

This episode wasn't bad, the last two episodes were certainly better. But despite this being the worst episode since Episode 11, it's still one of the best of the series, something that suggests we'll be seeing an upward trend in quality as time goes on. Everything about this episode was really lean and nothing really made me cringe. I am looking forward to the next episode (Little Red Riding Hood!), hoping it keeps up the quality.

    Spoiler:
The Kathryn arc's been okay so far, but it needs to come back from the shadows (which it will). The subtle looks that Emma's been giving Sidney, despite her "I can tell when anyone is lying" business being a HIGHLIGHT of the episode, makes me certain that Emma IS onto Sidney, something which will probably make Episode 11 look not so terrible in hindsight.

    Spoiler:
I hope this is true. Emma not checking whether the info Sidney gave her was correct was really weird. They did devote a whole episode to Glass earning Emma's trust though. :/

    Episode 15:
    Spoiler:
That was fun. Of course, I kept wondering who the wolf was. "Is it Red's boyfriend? Granny? The guy who survived the attack? Red herself? Nah, probably not that last one. Oh my god, of course it's Granny, she got bitten for god's sake (that was 10 minutes after she had told us that...). Nope, it's Red after all and not Granny. Ah wait, Granny too!"
So yeah, this episode kept me interested to say the least. :P

It seemed to me like Granny sacrificed herself in the end. Although I'm not sure if she can still turn into a wolf. She said that it had faded or something...
For a second I thought that Forest David was his twin brother but I guess he's dead and never was in Storybrooke. Speaking of that, the Kathrin thing is still nowhere near as interesting as the main storyline but this episodes's development was much better than last week's.

Henry barely made a sound and what he said was kind of funny too. He scored some points.

    I loved this episode.

    Spoiler:
Someone suggested in a spoiler thread that Red would be the wolf. It seemed like a far cry, but if pulled off properly, it would have been far more interesting than some random guy. Despite that, my jaw dropped when it became clear it was Red all along. I was banking on Granny the whole time (The claw marks gave it away). Ruby's role in Storybrooke was rather well done, too. Overall, it feels like the show is starting to find its footing, keeping lots of momentum since the Beauty and the Beast episode. Not too much Henry. Regina in small doses. Proper use of side characters. Nothing absolutely groanworthy. If they keep this up over the next seven episodes, I'll be pleased. To me, this show stopped being a "guilty pleasure" and has evolved into a must-watch. : )

Was anybody else freaked out by how well young Snow White was casted? Good God, that was spooky.

I'm not sure if it was the first time it's been aired in the UK or not, but I watched it for the first time at least last night.

I didn't expect it to be that good, very pleasantly surprised. I liked most of the character, except the one(s) you're not meant to, good acting, the production values were better than I thought they'd be. I didn't really get the whole fairytale characters in the real world thing until 20 minutes or so into the episode, but I can see how it all fits in now.

So yeah, I can see why you guys praise it and I'll definitely be watching it now.
