Well, Casino Royale was awesome so...

I agree that QoS wasn't great but so far Daniel's time as Bond has been pretty good. Though I would have liked to see more of him already. He has been Bond since 2006! Stupid MGM money problems. I think this one will be great. Mendes is a legit director.

I don't think QoS was bad, it just wasn't as good as Casino which isn't surprising. By this time they should have found there footing so hopefully this one will be able to movie out of Casino's shadow. Hopefully the studios problems won't end up influencing the movie too much. Craigs bond was the first Bond performance I could get into so I'm hoping this next movie leaves a good note to go out on if thats the case.

I don't really like the realistic atmosphere of the Craig's bond. Besides, he doesn't seem to be comfortable with the ladies compared to his predecessors.

Nothing could be more awkward than Brosnan with Halle Berry.

Craig was great with Green and afterwards he was a little gun shy and jaded...understandably.

Daniel Craig was the only reason I started to watch Bond movies. Knowing that you can imagine how eager I am to see the new movie.

I have rewatched some old James Bond films. I kinda think the Craig's films are a bit too serious(that doesn't necessarily make them bad movies). I absolutely loved Casino Royale but hated Quantum of Solace.

James Bond is pretty much like the way Red Letter Media described Indiana Jones. He was never really a deep character. Its more about the awesomness of being James Bond:
-Saving the world everyday.
-Eating at a lot of expensive restaurants and hotels... at the expense of the British Tax payers I guess.
- Getting on with a different chick everyday or even 2 sometimes. Being a girl magnet.
-Visiting exotic locations.
- Driving uber cars
- Using awesome gadgets.
- Bond always seemed to be about improvisation and less about running.

Women want Bond and men want to be Bond.

Completely agree, Casino Royale is probably one of my favourite movies so I went into QoS with ridiculously high expectations and I was disappointed by it, went back and watched it again this year, actually quite enjoyed it, most of it works, except the villain in my opinion, he just isn't threatening at all, but it is still a good solid film.

I hope Skyfall is on the same level as Casino Royale though

QOS was just mirthless, confusing, and with a whimper of a climax the like of which I have rarely seen. If Moonraker and Die Another Day are at one extreme of the James Bond over-the-top- Meter, Solace is at the other.

definetely looks better than QOS. However, I do miss the good old, fun and cheesy James Bond films. This film looks too serious. The cinematography reminds me a lot of the Dark knight, the villain looks like the Koker.

The theme song is out. Adele did a great job imo. I'm a huge fan of the Shirley Bassey themes and this is up that alley but good enough to stand on it's own. nov 9th~

Really is a great theme, but it's just making me more impatient for the movie. Just over a month to go...

Great song! Though I kinda dislike that background voice during the chorus, where she rapidly repeats what her louder counterpart says.
