One other thing to take into account when talking about the shows choice of Green Lanterns is that John Stewart was in both Justice League shows, Guy Gardner was on The Brave and the Bold, and Kyle Rayner was featured in Superman:TAS. On the other hand, Rayner is far less famous than Hal and even a lot of the people who do know him are probably more familiar with him thanks to a vast horde of refrigerator related jokes than anything he actually did.

Despite being the most iconic of the Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan has primarily had cameo appearances in DC animated shows for the past two decades so while he's the best known for older fans, he's a fresh face for younger viewers.. He had appeared in an animated film or two, but that's hardly the same thing as being a cast member on a regular series.

Of course, the film using Hal was the most important thing, but it's easy to see why they would use him even if that hadn't been the case.

I love Kilowog, so I'm glad he's in this. I still need to find a way to see it.
    Nothing here for now.

That's a very strange way of spelling Guy Gardner.

Has anyone like been watching this? I just started watching recently - i've really enjoyed it so far. I like the animation, though it kinda bothers me a little sometimes for some reason.

Animation and clarity of what's going on range from episode to episode.

I've been enjoying it, but I haven't watched it in a while.

I'm glad I kept watching this, each episode has been an improvement upon the last.

It's a shame they're breaking season one up into two parts like they did with the new Thundercats. The episode that airs on the 26th will probably be a massive cliff hanger and we won't get to see what happens next until the Fall probably.
... and? Are you expecting to see something witty here?

Loved the season finale. Saint Walker makes me really happy and lamo Razer/Aya is really growing on me.

Yeah I'm a huge GL fan and John Stewart and I actually share some namesake which is Frigging awesome. It was really hard for me to get past the animation but after several episodes I was able to and i enjoy it A LOT now. Looking forward to the season finale and nest season.
