One Piece Film Z (Wrap Canon From the Manga Not Yet in the Anime with Spoiler Tags)

I agree with you about how disappointing indigo and pervy gorilla were though this solely comes from how Indigo was fighting in the New World back in Roger's time. Shiki seemed NW strong to be sure but I would hope every single pirate in the fleet would be at least as strong as Indigo and that Gorilla sincethey lost to the pre-skip monster trio. I really hope that Vice-admirals and rear-admirals left along with Z if my theory was correct so that Zoro and Sanji will get a good fight.

However, organized one on ones may not be the best decision for a movie so it may be cool if it were just a chaotic battlefield with the strawhats, the heart pirates(?), Kuzan and Z's crew all fighting with few long-term matchups and a lot of co op attacks.

I'd be willing to bet that this movie has zero bearing on the manga storyline. Just like the supposed "canon"(it's not) Strong World had no bearing on the manga storyline. Add to that the Oda didn't even write this film, it's pretty much guaranteed that it is just an alternate universe/what if film for entertainment and money making purposes. I seriously doubt Oda would let another writer and another medium tell part of his story for him. Think about it. Only a fraction of his readership watches the films, so there is no way that you will need to see the film to understand what is happening in the manga.

Though I do agree that Kuzan's involvement makes things a little tricky. But only because his appearance in the film could reveal things that I think should be revealed in the manga first. It's for that reason that I think Kuzan should show up in the manga before the movie comes out.

Does the story actually revolve around Aokiji? Or this that a fan theory only? Honestly hoping this is just hyping up a cameo appearance by Aokiji.

If the story does center on him, does that mean Aokiji will no longer play a role in the manga? Why would Oda green light this if it could possibly contradict what he has in mind for Aokiji or the story in the future?

Here's another thought. What if Oda made a "Strong World" type side story comic tie in with Aokiji? Here's hoping for more info soon.

I didn't even notice that before, because Usopp's hammer (YOSH!) was obscuring her legs...
But yeah. It is short. And it's rather ironic, considering her heavy backpack and helmet.
